Dear god, the comment section is a trainwreck. Okay kids, pay attention:
-You need thirty (30) modules to assemble this.
-Paper can be any size you want as long as it's a square. So 3x3 cm, 4.4x4.4 inches, whatever you want. Just keep it square.
-You assemble this like any other sonobe ever. You connect three (3) units, then you connect five (5) of these 3 unit groups together.
-If you still don't know what I'm talking about, look for any sonobe kusudama tutorial here on youtube. They are always assembled in the same way.
Also Tadashi Mori speaks portuguese.

what is the dimension for the piece of paper, you used to fold the pieces?
this is kinda late but for anyone else wondering, after you assemble three units together start adding another 2 to the free flaps. to make the ball you need to notice how many units are in each "side" of the circle. take a close look at the video and pause it for a second. each "side" is grouped in 5 triangle points. If you make it 6 it doesn't work. Hope this helps anyone.

once you have that done, you assemble 5 of those together to make a star, then repeat.

i don't mind the Portuguese but i really wish your videos were a bit clearer and that it contained the assembly as well..all in all you have great kusudama models :D
Nice design. Shame about the video aspect ratio, which makes it very hard to tell if one is following the directions correctly.
