He lived right behind my uncles place in North Hollywood. He would do yard work shirtless and he and my mother would talk for a very long time. Shame on you mom. I had a crush on his daughter. She was the first women pilot to fly the big airliners in the US and abroad. A very nice guy.

Clint Walker just passed away unfortunately last year. He was a huge man at 6'6 , and that penetrating deep voice was so unique. Only genetics of a certain kind make that kind of man. He'll be missed.

You know he not only reminds you of Superman, he matches the comic book version and he comes across as intellectually the same way as Superman is portrayed, articulate, thoughtful and analytical. He would have been a much much better Superman than Cavil, Routh, or even Reeves.
Its just unbelievable that he not only survived having a skiing pole pierce this heart he made a complete recovery. He was great as an actor and from what it appears, equally great as a human being.

I bought a bottle of Clint’s wine and gave it to my friend for his 65th birthday. I had asked for an autograph from Clint on a picture I had of the two of them. Moore credited his career with being 6 foot 3 & having a straight nose, but Walker dwarfed him on screen, Moore looks like a boy. Roger said Clint used to weight liftl the cameras. The relationship between the 2 on-screen is great, they're like Butch & Sindance a decade before Newman & Redford. As a young girl growing up in the fifties and sixties, even I recognized a handsome, soft spoken man. I’ve always prayed that his good looks did not override his integrity as a man.

One quickly gets the impression that as an actor, Walker was hired to do one thing: take off his shirt. Nowadays, a guy like this would be relegated to doing action and sci-fi flicks - you can't cast him in conventional dramatic roles because his size alone would undermine any conventional sense of naturalism. Much like the Rock, he seems to belong in fictional universes
