not a bad operater, work on using just your foot controles when traveling, a good operater should never have to take his hands off the controles. You will find that things will go much quicker.

I use them when necessary. But if I'm travelling and not using the controls then why use feet? The reason track pedals have hand levers is for greater control in certain situations. I've known very good operators with 30 to 40 years experience who prefer to use their hands as they've said they don't have great control or feeling in their feet.
I can use the pedals just fine but sometimes like to give my feet a break, especially if I'm travelling for a bit with sprockets in front.
