I liked the video as soon as I saw your face☺️. So many of my favorite RUclips mamas are disappearing, so please know that I appreciate you showing up even when life is life-ing.
I agree!!! Brittney is always positive and other channels have gone quiet. I love seeing curriculum, it makes it easier to navigate choices and stick to a budget.
I have a recently turned 6 year old and an almost 8 year old (along with an almost 10 year old) and the repetition and patience is key to teaching my kiddos especially the littles. Going into the learning room with a positive attitude is a good point. I’m going to remember that!
I'll have a 1st grader next year with a Pre-K kiddo as well :) I think we settled on beautiful feet seasons afield for science and adding in the slow down biographies from a year of learning as well as mapping activities to round it out and cover social studies. We also use math with confidence and all about reading. I also ordered more then words level one for Bible and a little extra enrichment and copywork
Yes, would love to hear more about Curiosity Chronicles - we use History Quest and it’s great but I wonder if CC would be more engaging (my son is a third grader this year). Fun to see an update video from you!! Sending a hello from the Pacific Northwest!
We’ve been using Noeo Chemistry 1 with my 2nd and PreK kiddos and it has been so great. Short, sweet, and easy to stick to. Worth the money to have everything streamlined engaging and put together. Highly recommend!
We’re going with Neoscience next year! We’ve done Bookshark and the lab kits just don’t have everything. In addition, the labs don’t necessarily match the lesson for that week.
I love your videos. My son is a struggling learner, It can be hard to stay patient with him especially when some days it like he get it and he is on the ball rolling and other days it like he has lost it. I suspect he may have dyslexia and/or Dysgraphia. I also have a 3 yo so I am trying to start planning for his upcoming pre k year.
Do you plan on putting your little kids in math u see? Do you have a video explaining why you chose math with confidence over math u see? Math is a subject I'm considering changing next year
I really wanted to like Noeo chemistry for early elementary but I just don’t!! I have watched a bunch of videos on it and I liked what I saw. I also really liked the included books and the biographies. But we are 5 weeks in and 😅. I don’t like it. My son loves it so I will continue but, wow. There is an experiment guide, and a teachers guide, and student lab book. The student book is just a repeat of what’s in the teachers guides and they’re just like… comprehension questions rather than critical thinking questions. And the experiment book will often guide you to another separate book for the experiment. It feels so disorganized compared to other stuff when I go to actually use it even though the lessons themselves are pretty simple. Also the scheduling is weird… I’ve had my eye on bookshark/Sonlight science 🕵🏿♀️ and also Real Science Odyssey. Looking at these other comments has me feeling like the grass isn’t greener 👀 maybe despite having a science degree, I just don’t like early elementary science aka arts and crafts 😜
Thank you so much for your review !!! It will definitely help me on my final science pick !!! I looked into Real Science Odyssey and it looks great too!!! And yes I have been enjoying science more with my middle schooler than the littles too 🫣🤣

Aww thank you so much !!! Comments like this definitely keeps me motivated to continue to make content 🥰

Agreed! A lot have seem to have moved over to a paywall group and making RUclips sort of quiet.
Hi Brittney, thank you for the update. I didn’t hear you mention Rod & Staff Eng for your 6th grader. Are you still using that?
@@jessicajones611 We finished it in September! It was amazing as always 🥰

I’d love to see how you organize all the cards for math with confidence
Excited to hear what you decide to do for your upcoming 1st grader!!! 💜💜

I would also love a video on Curiosity Chronicles!!
I love her history notebook. Did those note booking pages come from curiosity chronicles?
I'm glad things are going well.

Can't wait for your 2024-2025 curriculum picks!
If you ever need another independent science curriculum the Evan Moor Daily Science is great.
You have a great school. What are your thoughts about starting Oak Meadow in 1st? Will you start it for your littles?
Do you do a defined bible curriculum? I heard you talking about the Bible verse with your middle baby.
New sub here. Great content!
