- This video shows you how I installed 26s on my new Chevy Silverado. It took a few tries and I show you the ups and downs. this video will show you what to look for and what parts to order. Wheels were bought form @audiocity. @Giovannawheels 26" Dramuno 6 silver
The truck was lowered on a @BelltechSuspension 4/6 drop. You will need a 10mm hub-centric spacer custom built they have them at the audio city. I even talk about the lug nuts and does and don't.

...DAAAAAAMN!!!!!! Yes sir 26’s are the 1’s, thanks for the info bud.
Tracy James thanks man
114 is the correct rating though...these wheels look really good. I'm considering, which is what lead me to this video. Thank you
Sure they have the correct offset now to fit chevy with no spacers
Great looking truck. I don't even have a 2020 and still enjoyed watching your video. I have a 2015 and it will be lifted and I want to do 26's.
Thanks so much
Nice truck! Sits perfect with the drop and 26s Looks super clean, Great choice on the wheels too. I’ve been running the Lexani LX-Thirty in 305/30/26 for around 3 years of daily driving with who knows how many miles and just barely replaced them they’ve held up really good! quality tire for the money definitely!!
D Money thanks man
Thanks for making this vid! I've got a new to me 2019 Sierra Denali and this has saved the day while installing the 26" wheels! Exactly the info I needed!🙂
Hey to be honest you did a great job recording and explaining and your truck looks amazing so keep up the great work my guy
Thanks so much
Steve...all that work was worth it because 26’s look perfect! 🔥
You got that right! thanks
Truck looks absolutely Amazing. Gorgeous fit couldn’t get better ❤
Great video explaining some of the things people should expect and no about to make a better decision doing something similar to what you are doing to their trucks I have always liked the look 26” gives them and for the most part it’s worth the feeling of more road bumps hub centric rings are a must to keep vibration at different speeds out of it so you don’t think tires are out of balance and the 24” wheels with just a 35 series tire do ride like factory with just that little bit of extra sidewall for those people wondering
Do the 24s it's way better I just switched
@@wfosteve7049 curious why did you switch to 24”s ? Was about to purchase these an was already looking at the same setup 2/4 drop with belltech suspension on my 15 Silverado but! The 24”s cost more than the 26s on audio city site . Didn’t know witch one to go with so it would be great if u could give me some info on why u changed. Cool channel 🤙🏼
@@Roman________ rides so much better and a tow boats so it way better this way
@@wfosteve7049 Would you say the 24's ride quality wise is night and day difference compared to the 26"? Love the way the 26s look however, I don't care to feel every imperfection in the road lol. With 26's did you get the cold tire syndrome where it felt like the wheels were out of balance for the first 5-10 minutes of driving? Thanks!
@ yes 26 look better but 24 is way better ride in everyday driving. I moved back to 24 now as bent 2 rims on 26
BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL TRUCK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!STEVEO!!!
Wow thanks so much
Dude thanks!! That helped a ton. I have a 2019 Chevy with 22x10s that rub a little. Gonna have to take that bracket out. Had no idea that was in there. Thanks
Glad I could help man
Mannn that truck is BEAUTIFUL love the look with them 6’s.👌🏼
Appreciate it!! so much
She looks AWESOME!!!!!
Dam those look bad ass on your truck. I’m getting a itch to slap wheels on my 21 Sierra and was curious about what size to go with. You answered it all!
Thanks man
@@wfosteve7049 your truck was factory height in this video correct?
@@Blueberry_B05 no it’s dropped
@@wfosteve7049 ah so with factory settings I’ll be able to get a thicker tire
@@wfosteve7049 mounting up my 26s right now at the tire shop. Can’t wait to see it. Got them cause of your video man. Thanks!
My buddy has a 2020 high country with a 3/5 drop and 24s and he put spacers on but the wheel still rubbed that hump on the caliper, so they just ground it off smooth and re painted the brake so the bare metal didn’t rust it out.
Legendary video starts finish bad ass camera view too💯✊🏽
tanks
Perfect 👌 it should have come from the factory like that
oh yea
One of the best videos for the new trucks & SUV's. Thanks
I appreciate that! thanks
Thank you for the info 💪
Noah from KTBTV sent me 🔥 Awesome truck man , I got a 16 Silverado 2door short bed I’m workin on rn . SUBSCRIBED 💯
Thanks bud
Never torque any wheel by lifting up on a torque wrench ... always start in the 2 or 3 o'clock position and push toward the ground ! Sweet lookin' Whip there Steve !
Alan Lapp thanks
Unless this is some weird advice rooted in slipping and punching yourself in the face or something, I fail to see why anyone would warn about wrench orientation.
Truck looks excellent!
I think so too! thanks
Thats a good looking truck bro. 26's= perfection
Appreciate it
I have 22s and yes they do look like doughnuts. The 26s look fire but seem like a lot of work and risk. Guess Ill have to upgrade to 24s. Great video!
Thanks bud
I had that same problem on a 98 Malibu get extended studs and you can use the regular lug
thanks
Man this truck is a beauty, I wish chevy cut that finder some more so we could add a bigger 26 inch tire on there but im sure any custom shop can do some cutting on the finders and you can have the look and the plush feel of a 26 with a bigger tire
Thanks man it works out fine
Set up is beautiful!
Thank you! so much
Nice truck Steve
Thanks 👍
Had been subscribed to you for a while & Im glad you made an informative video for us lowered 2019-2020 silverado guys especially about the brake calipers and rims ! Support from down here in hawaii🤙🏽
Thanks for the sub! thanks man
Griding that lip down on the brake caliber would be the solution then paint to match (white powder coat brake caliber ) eazy fix with the lugs
Just got some 24x14 rims for my 2019 ram 1500 and I found ur video helpful🤙🏻
Glad I could help man
Gorgeous truck, perfect size wheels
Big thanks i love it
1 inch lift will get the tire off the upper fender skirt, because if you pull it up from under th hood will probably not go anywhere, because it's already that factory screw up there in the upper part over the wheel well skirt where it rubs and that screw is probably drawing all the way up which means Defenders cart will not move any further.... I also heard that some of the Chevys can be adjusted to raise the truck. ?
Great vid the truck looks good on the 26’s
Thanks 👍
Looks great .... my boy just put 28s on his 2020.
Wow crazy
Nice! Good to see something different! All i see is lifted trucks in my area! Gets so old! 👍
Yes me to man me to
Looks awesome
thanks man
Buenas tardes ! Estoy viendo su video y tengo la misma Silverado y tengo el mismo problema ! Me podría ayudar con información de donde compro las piezas ? Gracias
Gotta fill that fender that the only way ✍🏾🤧🍾🍾
26s look really good
thanks
Hey bud, love the Silverado, looks clean!! I've watched your videos about the 26 " issues". I have a 24 Silverado RST and I want to put 26s on it. Just wondering with those hub centric spacers if you ever had any problems and where they steel or aluminum and also did you ever figure out the lug nut issue?
They make wheels that fit now days no need for spacers now
That seems to be what I'm hearing now too. Thanks for getting back
Good job
Thanks
Nice truck
Thanks
That thing sittin just right 👍
thanks
What brand wheels are those? Thsnks
Giovana
Thanks for the video Steve.. you did awesome by the way! I have a 2019 GMC Sierra and thanks to you I know the size to get.. I just hope I don’t have that same issue with the brake caliper. But if my truck turns out like yours, it’s worth it either way. Thanks again
Wow thanks for the kind words bud
You will need a 1/4 " spacer on the front of the GMC.
Looks great
Thanks!
Hey man truck looks amazing just wondering if you had any camber and what drop are you on a 4/6?
No need to
Did you have to change your control arms?
Man ! it looks like it was worth all bull.... you went through.
I'm in Pa and have 20 Trail Boss, can't have my truck that low.
But, it's sweet looking dude..👍
And i bet who ever designed the caliper doesn't have a clue about
that stupid bump.
MRLUGNUTS thanks so much man
Good video bro thanks I have a balance problem
What happened?
Nice lookin Truck Steve.
Thanks 👍
cool video man thanks for sharing
Thanks for the visit
I ended up marking where the bracket was and installing it in front of the fender liner which in turn secures your wheel wells
Looks amazing!
It does! thanks
Thanks for this video... Sure helped me with my 2022 Silverado on 26" Snowflakes, same issues you experienced. Any update on matching front and rear ET lugs?
Great news glad to help nothing on lug nuts yet but I do have another video coming about the wheels
Truck looks fantastic. Curious what offset you got? I have a 2022 refresh RST…lowered 3/5. Currently using 22x9 Strada Buca’s with 295/45/22 and 26 offset. I just bought a set of Ferrada FT3’s in 24x10 and 30 offset with 305/35/24s. I test fit a side before removing wheels and tires, and no clearance issues
The mamalona looking clean
thanks
My man came correct! 😎
Would it be possible to use a dye-grinder and just grind the caliper flush? Really not a fan of running spacers.
Perfect size wheels. Looks nice!🔥
Thanks! 👍
I have a Denali try 295/30 r26 tires no issues no mods
I would try use a grinder and grind those humps down on the break caliper some what
Looks fantastic
thanks
Hey idk if you’ll see this comment but you did a 4/6 drop on 26s did you initially have any issues with rubbing and if so does just moving the wheel well liner help
Drop? N wheel and tire size?
Truck looks amazing man
Thanks
Love the Silverado my friend
Thanks
Great video keep it
Wonderful
Nice video good job
Many many thanks
Rims look perfect!
thanks
when you installed the belltech 4/6 did you have to do a C notch to the frame?
I did not but have the parts
Steve do you or did you ever have a problem with vibration at 65-70mph with the 26” wheels on the truck?
I did at 80 sometimes not always
@@wfosteve7049 what size is the bore for your hub rings? The guys that installed my wheels told me I didn't need any since I'm running 26'' snowflake replicas. I've had the wheels balanced, truck aligned, as well as had the wheels checked for dents.
Where you get custom hub centric ring
I saw u at the petit lemans this weekend
nice should have said hi
Beautiful truck!!
Thanks so much
Thanks so much
Do they have aftermarket calipers without the hump on the back?
No stock
Looks good
thanks
1920 Silverado nice
Thanks for the detailed video bro.
Sure
Where did you get your spacers? I like your custom made spacers vs them cheap ones they give you at the rim shop. Truck looks good and glad you did this video as I want to add 26’s to my truck. What about grinding that lip down flush then painting the calipers? Thoughts on doing so. I want my truck to look good and not rigged like most vehicles you see. Thanks for the response in advance
Nice look'n truck. It would be better if the USA sold single cab
That is true
Truck is lookin good Steve... Any thought on grinding that hump down on the brake caliper?
me to scared me
This is a little bit separate issue but there's a video out there that covers the brake caliper issue so I'm going to mention it there's a video out there by ready lifts on how to properly level out the Trail Boss / AT4 versions of the Silverado and Sierra and they cover the break caliber issue that rubs on the wheels andt how to alleviate that issue without grinding it down so if you can find that video, you might want to check it out
It definitely looks better

badass truck cuhh!
Thanks
What is the backspace of the wheels. Thanks
Hey man I’m newly subscribed to your channel, and I just went from 24s to 26 s on my 2018 Nissan titan and you are educating me a whole lot about the load rating. Man thank you because I had questions as well about could I still drive long distance and or tow my two my car Back and forth to car shows. thank you for the information
Thanks for the sub! glad i could help
Where did you get the hub centric? And how much were they? We need to get some
@WFO Steve where do you get the spacer with the hub centric?
I put 24 on my 2019 new body style with spacers no Rubbing
Nice
Nice truck man 👍
Thanks 👍
What is brand of wheel do you have?
Giovanna
Beautiful truck thank you for responding to my comment maybe we could do a collab with us and Noah?
JPK Fishing one day
I used this video to select tires and choose the right spacer on my 2020 Sierra. Great job with the tutorial 👍🏾
I went with the Lexani LX Thirty 305-30-26 as well!
Put a washer on the bolt on the fender weld so it won’t get through the black fender very easy
What tire pressure are you running?
Hope you have smooth roads there.
yes
Did they finally assemble a package for this issue?
No the new wheels are now correct offset
What offset are you running now and what offset were your old rims
The next takuache 😭😂
what?
😂
WFO Steve it’s a thing that comes from Texas and California. Every teenager with a lowered truck and a certain haircut and wheels are called takuaches
Hy cuhh
Or a Mamalona
Yes they look dam good
thanks
What were the offset of the wheels before the spacer?
dont remember they make proper offset now days
