Hi Springer, I have just taken up the guitar at the age of 74 and I find it great that having found you on youtube, I watch your clips daily I think and love all that you play in such a professional way, this piece of music is my very favourite piece of music of all time as it was my pleasure to have seen the great renowned spanish guitarist Narcoso ypes play it many years ago now and as a young man it reduced me to tears, your rendition of it has made me more ambitious to get on and learn to play the guitar so I hopefully one day I can make a half a good effort to play this as you do, keep up the good work. I restarted guitar myself only some years ago, once retired, after more than 40 years of inactivity. So with a bit of work nothing is impossible. Hello Christian, I've just discovered your viewing site on You Tube. What a wealth of musical enjoyment & learning. I confess that the 2 most exciting things for me are (1) that many of the backing tracks are ones you've prepared yourself from original Shadows & Hank Marvin tracks. They sound FANTASTIC !!! I see that you use Adobe Audition in your Apache tutorial. More is the pity that I don't understand French. Do you have an English site? Also, which edition of Adobe Audition are you using. (2) Your guitar sounds are so incredibly like the original with their "delay" effects, etc. I read with great interest that you use VST compatible patches because, as you say, the original "hardware" would have been prohibitively expensive even if there were obtainable. Can you tell me more about these patches & how you obtained them? Thanks again for posting all those wonderful videos of you "in action" for our enjoyment. Francis from Oz, the land downunder.
Hi Francis Thanks for your interest in all these things. I am using Adobe audition 3 for backing track extraction from original tunes. But you can also use the 1.5 version, despite it is a bit less efficient. I am currently working at an english version of my VST package. I will put that on a server when it will be complete. This will include the package (this is ready), its documentation (done at 50% approx) and a number of tutorial videos such as the one you mention, but in English (I have not yet started this, but I have already all the models in French), Then I will have to find an exsiting server to host this, or to build one. So work again... When complete, I will make some advert here on RUclips, as many people have been requested me all this since 2 years. So be patient. Cheers - Christian
Hi Springer I have said before how I love this concerto and as a late starter I have been able to make a half decent attempt at it but I am falling short in places and I was wondering would you know where I could obtain a tab sheet for said same tune, Goran Tangrine has the tune by the Shadows but sadly no tab sheet. I used to sing also in a choir, but lost that ability, I have a fantastic teacher friend who comes to my home every Wednesday and he said you are always close to the music I learn, this is why I have multiple saves with you.
