Welcome back Godfred. It feels great to see you back
Godfred! Solid solid guy!
Bernard and team. I have so much to say about this topic! The US is not a walk in the park especially as an immigrant. The difference is…it has opportunities if you know who you are and know the quality of life you want. Culture and mindset are important. After visiting Ghana 5 times I have some insight. I am an immigrant from Trinidad. I see all sides. At the end of the day quality of life is the best barometer to the question: to leave or not to leave. I would live in both countries…the US would sustain me for the quality of life I prefer in Ghana. You should have a call in show for people like myself. I have allegiance to 3 countries and it has made me who I am. Keep up these discussions!
This discussion is great. You have all done well. I hope I run into more of your programs on RUclips. Good job.
Bernard you are right, woezor literally means "you have travelled/walked" and Sky's response literally means "i have traveled up to you"
This argument of working in the interest of the public; who is working against the interest of the public? Even the hawker on the street is serving and working in the interest of the public. The idea that being in political positions make one better than others explains why they don't respect the citizens. An MP going to work in the morning is just like a teacher going to his normal class or a market woman going to Kantamanto or Kejetia. If the latter group will have to get up early and get to work on time, why should the former be given any special priority? These people are not leaders. They're just position occupants. A 'leader' who doesn't care how their people (if they're even 'their' people) fare even on the road but looks out for their interest first, to drive without limit!
What kind of nonsense defense are they giving to pass this bill? Do they know what the private sector go through to make it for meetings or get to work and pay our 25% corporate tax to pay these MPs? Are serious at all as a country?
That person who said people should stay in their country, obviously, he’s not one of the many degree holders who’ve been sitting at home for the past 5 years or more for lack of work. If everyday, he has to be whatsapping family and friends begging for breakfast, he will be finding a way to leave the country.
great to see godfred back heard him on bbc a couple of times the last few months
aaaaaaaa Good to see Afro Man.
Godfred Blessings and more...
You see all kinds of top people, corporate VPs , directors etc. on trains, working on their laptops, reading reports, newspapers etc. All these people have cars and in some cases, drivers.
A manager is a manager, be it at McDonalds or anywhere else. It comes with its benefits. Give that woman another 5 years or less, if she’s prudent with her money, she’ll start acquiring her own McDonald restaurants by way of franchises.
yes Godfred I can see that you have put a bit of weight on !! The US did you good - Did you chop McDonalds, Burger King, Wendy's, Dunkin Doughnuts, Taco Bell etc. Anyway Akwaaba me nua!!
I think one big thing you all are missing in terms of why people continue to live abroad is the health situation in Ghana. And it’s a serious one.
I often say, Ghanaian politicians are the most lucky politicians, no pressure on them and no one checks them
These mps seem out of touch with reality how do you suppose you are higher than another Ghanaian to whom you owe service and as such you need to skip traffic to work we are all working to build the nation so they better reason up quickly 32:06
Foolish Ghana politicians.
Politicians in other countries are taking trains, buses, and riding bikes to work.
Bernard, not under any circumstances, should these people be given any preferential treatment. Everybody needs to go to bed early, wake up early and go to work on time. If your child is sick and you are the only one who can take that child to see a doctor, just like every human being who works, inform your colleagues, or your ‘boss’ accordingly. Just let them know you’ll be late.
Hmmm' may be one day I will come home.
You can encourage, however, if people come back get duped by almost everyone for things they want to do, the system frustrating you each step of the way, being called all sorts names just for trying to do right, family and friends treating you as their atm with all sorts of need request and treated badly for not helping them, etc. Almost everyone abroad has tried something back home, but lying business partners, lazy, and corrupt staff, among many such challenges is not something many the diaspora want to continue dealing with.
It is not as easy as you guys say it.
The aspect of those learning how to trade forex won't be captured at all
Film me well 😂
Efo Bernard don't kill me ooo
All the siren nonsense. How wide are these roads? Early to bed, early to rise, gets you to work on time !
kwasiato
Please they're learning Forex trading waiiiii
Bernard, I don't know why you looked down on draught playing. Do you know there's a championship for draught playing in Ghana and even across Africa?
We can also make draught the source of income for people. You yourself don't know how to play draught. This is why you always look down on it
… and do you think Mahama is the one to solve this mess you are talking about looking at his performance when he was the president.
