America gets what it deserves...oligarchy.
Growing up I never heard anything good about him. Come to think of it I never really heard him speak. All I heard were smears. Years later I came to realize how absurd that was.
He's overrated. He took bribe money from the republican party in 2000 in order to prevent an authentic environmentalist from getting elected president. The bribe money he took came from oilmen. There is *no way around that.* Sorry to burst your bubble, but Nader might as well work for the oil companies.

Show me *one thing* the Green Party has done to help the environment. Just *one thing.* But there is no one thing because their only accomplishments have been handing power to the oil party on purpose.
@@markpartin8403 Ralph Nader's book, Unsafe at Any Speed, tried to answer that question by giving all the arguments that the American automobile industry gave against seat belts and other safety features. One argument that industry executives gave repeatedly was that "Safety doesn't sell," but as Nader wrote, when Ford offered seat belts, they literally sold out and Ford had to ship cars without them. I saw a cartoon in which an engineer tells a factory manager, "I can reduce your energy consumption by 20%," and the manager says, "It's working right now, and if I started messing with it, it might not be." Executives were marketing cars on the basis of glamour, as if they were handbags, and they just thought that if they introduced a new factor, safety, it might upset their marketing strategies. Engineers had a kind of arrogance, that they knew best, they had already made up their minds that they had designed as much safety as appropriate, and suggesting otherwise would challenge their authority. There are probably psychologists who understand this better than I do. As Nader wrote, the experience in Sweden was different. Nils Bohlin, an engineer for Volvo, designed the modern three-point seat belt, and published a study in 1967 demonstrating that it prevented fatalities in every collision under 60mph. That ended the debate.

But that part of me has been resurrected with Bobby Kennedy Junior's candidacy for POTUS. When I first heard he was running, I had bought into the mainstream media portrayal of him as a conspiracy nut, but I felt I owed it to Bobby senior to at least give his son a listening to. After listening to many interviews ( on RUclips and other social media platforms) I got a feel for his sincerity and Integrity. What's more, when I learned of his practicing a rigorously honest spiritual program, being an old friend of Bill's, well, that just put me over the moon! His emphasis on placing principles before personalities and not impugning the motives of others, but focusing only on policy differences keeps him out of the childish blame-game pettiness which has characterized politics for the last few presidential cycles. For the last 25 years or so I've heard Republicans complain that liberals, like communists, want to redistribute the wealth from the Rich to the Poor. Well, I've been around a while and my experience over the last 50 years tells me that through corporate lobbying, payoffs, financing campaigns, etc., Corporate America has more than just captured the Agencies which are supposed to regulate it. It has captured the Whole political system, both Republicans and Democrats to essentially establish a Political Duopoly which has dismantled the union movement, decimated the middle class, and created the homeless class thru exorbitant rental rates, interest rates on homes and credit cards, school loans, etc; and stagnated wages over the last 45+ years. And so, the Rich, as plutocrats will, have been Redistributing the wealth from the Poor and Middle-class to the Rich! Bobby knows how to Stop this because he's been suing Corporate America and the government agencies that are captured by Corporate America for polluting and injuring people, winning billions of dollars in judgments for the last 40 years. Please, just listen to his full interviews on RUclips! And IGNORE the mainstream media interviews which are almost always EDITED to take his comments out of context to skew his meaning or views.

After listening to many interviews ( on RUclips and other social media platforms) I got a feel for his sincerity and Integrity. What's more, when I learned of his practicing a rigorously honest spiritual program, being an old friend of Bill's, well, that just put me over the moon!
When Bobby committed to this campaign to become president, he took a leap of faith. Let's all take a leap of faith with him because it's the right thing to do.
