Where do you haul your wood to most of it? Does it go to papermills or sawmills or Popple? That’s a hard one to get rid of isn’t it? Do you cut much cedar?
Most goes to local paper mills. We also do firewood, pallet logs, grade logs as well as cedar. We cover most any market . I do cut quite a bit of cedar at times actually 🤙👍
I sure like your video. Say can you cut eastern cedar trees, with ground branches? Or do low branches get in the way? I'd sure like to know. I've been clear cutting cedars for 5 yrs now. And still got 1000's to go yet.
Thanks! I appreciate the kind comment alot. Straight drain oil doesn't work great. It prematurely wears bars and chains because the oil isn't tacky enough. This new additive should remedy that
I like your attitude while working with the wood and things DO HAPPEN!
Thanks! That means a lot! They certainly do happen and often. But such is life in the woods
These machine always amaze me. Incredible engineering. In the lab is one thing out in the woods is another.
For sure a feat of engineering these machines are! Appreciate the comment and watch 🤙🪵
I like watching your videos too by the way, you’re very interesting it’s kind of neat to see logging done. Hope we see more.😊
Plan on posting most weeks on Friday! Appreciate it!
Cut, repair, repeat.
Pretty much spot on 🤣

I would imagine so I cut spruce that have ground branches. Takes a bit more work and time is all
@@Loggermackthat's good to hear. Thanks !
Equipment payments, fuel, repairs, landowner stumpage fees = no profit !
Down time Is the biggest killer!
Good vid!! Does running drain oil in the bar work fine? Always wondered about that.. 🫤
