I am a veteran logger the biggest I got to use was a tiger cat 6 wheeler and yes bigger is better in most logging situations now a days but started out on the small line skidders , yes having space ( big cabs ) defiantly makes the job easier happy trails everyone!
Nice to run the big toys ! As a small guy I’ll probably never have something like that , given the payments and the fuel prices equal gold bars these days , something needs to give !
Waht a beast.Max pull around 80000? Was sad to see Bobby Goodson need to make such a hard decision.Hope the area your logging is good and your business never needs to make such a hard choice.
Always wanted to see a video of that machine from the inside. I think the 8 wheel Timberpro with a grapple saw on the boom and a dual arch on back would be about the ultimate large volume long haul machine. Or even a clam bunk on back, but I think those are probably best suited to absolutely flat ground.
Good morning Pete. You look good driving that thing. Don't know if you missed it last night but Bobby Goodson was live on RUclips. He has shut down and is putting everything up for sale.
Sweet machine brother!! Are you going Richmond VA this weekend coming for the show! The company I work for is going to be there with a couple processor's there on display...
That's nice when your working on flat level open ground an how much wood can you pull with it on a drag? Heck what you pulled your first trip I could have done with the 648L John deer. Seems like a waste of money unless you gonna pull more wood than that each trip out. Just my opinion
That's a nice machine with our economy the way it is today we have to utilize our older machinery try to keep it going longer than having to buy a new because it's just not available in any aspect
That is one big machine. The one I have seen that is bigger was one used by the German forestry service, I was a tracked vehicle and towed a log trailer. I was sight to see.
You learned the stop the rattling with a glove trick from David Haley. I hope that thing has good AC. The trade off for good visibility is the greenhouse effect.
That it could it’s a little rough on fuel but damn does it make up for it and how much you can drag I’d be curious to see what it would do on steeper ground
If you can cut big timber and do an good job at might be interested, I'm not doughting anyone but I've heard alot of guys say they knew how to cut timber, then yeah everyone knows the rest. And this is big timber, we're not cutting anything under 30 inches on the stump and that the smaller size, this timber looks like the quality of timber you'd find in Indiana.

My thoughts exactly hahaha nothing compared to the size equipment I run. Would love to get in something like this one day

I hope not to
Bobby goodson made a decision to go out off business.
Hrccc
Tigercat makes a clam bunk
I am a American logger and that is the Lu
Little one of all skidder
I never new timber pro made a grapple Skidder, that's sweet
Thats a beast of a skidder! Very hand for those long skids so you can keep everything roadside.
Always wanted to see a video of that machine from the inside.

That's a big machine. That cab is huge! looks neat
Looks slow as a granny ground hog xsp for flat ground. That jd prb make three trips to one of that beast.
Every drag there’s about 3/4 of a load and it looks a lot slower in the video
Good morning Pete. You look good driving that thing. Don't know if you missed it last night but Bobby Goodson was live on RUclips. He has shut down and is putting everything up for sale.
That’s a shame. I liked the show “swamp loggers”.
I saw that
O crap y what happen y he shut down??
Boy I like that ,!
My man still got the saw chaps and hard hat on up in the skidder!
I was multitasking that day lol
Sweet machine brother!!
Are you going Richmond VA this weekend coming for the show! The company I work for is going to be there with a couple processor's there on display...
Unfortunately I can’t make it
Good Morning Pete- Another Great Video. That’s some skidder 👍
Bet that farmer wants to get some corn in the ground
It was a big rush to get this job done they were auctioning the land off
Bobby Goodson swamp loggers calling quits, fuel prices and the new administration.
I know I hate it for him
Can you turn the seat back and forth or do you have to sit sideways all day?
You could spin it whatever way you want it
Run a 748l and its insane
Biggest loader I've ran was a 994 loader. I preferred big dozers cause they smoother believe it or not. Well most of the time.

Cesar 🧔🏻
I operate a tigercat 630 ..before that i had a 610..liked tge 610 better ..faster cycle time ,,faster ground speed ,and shorter
That's a nice machine with our economy the way it is today we have to utilize our older machinery try to keep it going longer than having to buy a new because it's just not available in any aspect
What engine and hp does that big skidder have? SR
8.3 cummins

Workin hard, hardly workin! That's the way ya do it, money for nothin and ya chicks for free.
How do you like that office chair

Cool Machine! Pete, at times you looked like a little kid on a field trip! That's a BIG sucker!
Clamp on clamp off nice to use other machinery to see how it works.
And use diseil per hour.
Never have seen you do this job but it's different and congratulations on running that monster machine
Morning Pete hope you have a great day making that timber dollars buddy be safe and be kind.
That’s a cool skidder. Never seen one like that. Enjoy all this sun while it lasts. See ya on the next one.
Grownups are still kids toys just cost us more money lol

Looks like you're having fun
That's one mean skidder awesome video 👍
Pete thanks for sharing! Kevin
You learned the stop the rattling with a glove trick from David Haley.
I hope that thing has good AC. The trade off for good visibility is the greenhouse effect.
Cruising in a Cadillac today!👍
How big is it compared to a 635 and you read my comment on logger wades live stream and it blew my mind thank you so much!
Pretty close to the same I’d say
Tiger cat's grapple is considerably larger and packs more wood
Goodness that skidder could move a lot of wood in a day
That it could it’s a little rough on fuel but damn does it make up for it and how much you can drag I’d be curious to see what it would do on steeper ground
rides like a cadillac!
love the dog
Oh I wanna try it.
wanna come work in missouri? cutting some of the best timber a person will ever see.
On my way lol
