I’m determined af to learn how to do gel nails at home. I do the buffing, the dusting, avoiding the cuticle, sealing the free edge, but I STILL have premature lifting near my cuticle 😅😅😅 It drives me NUTS! but i think it might be that clear part of the cuticle like she said, I’m gonna invest in a cuticle pusher tool.
Best tips: use a really strong basecoat like CND STICKEY BASECOAT or Essie Here Stay basecoat , Seche vite or OPI topcoat & basecoats! Secondly, use nail polish thinner to thin thick gel/ nail polish, thinner coats dry faster and don't get bulky with all the layers of polish! Use a double basecoat as well to hold on polish! Another tip is layers of topcoat! 2-3 thin layers will hold the polish! I layers Essie No Chips topcoat with Sally Hansen insta dry clear Topcoat, or Seche Vite Quick Dry topcoat, 3 layers then use a Essence nail dry drops to set the polish! Raptor claws for 10 minutes until it all dries! Rubber basecoats work well on long bendy nails! And the quality of the nail/gel polish, better quality nail polishes are expensive but cheaper in the long run! Any tips pls add them! Essie Here Stay basecoat is very strong to stop nails chipping, 3 weeks now and only 1 yes 1 broken nail! No major chips! Trial and error! UK 🇬🇧 20.4.24
The best source of nail information. Better than Susie, better than Liz Morris, better than Anastasia. I love all of those peoples’ videos, but Marina is the queen.❤️❤️❤️

You meant eponychium, not pterygium, right? Pterygium is scar tissue.
