    First class that serves Ben & Jerry's for dessert. Couldn't be more American than that.

      @@tjittekamminga5170 That is why America Airlines announced that they are eliminating the first class cabin on all of their planes. All will be called business class which will better align them with international practice. So what will international first class be called on 777-300s? I don't know. Business class extra?

    I think it´s a shame for many airlines that you pay thousands of dollars for a business or first ticket and still have to pay for the internet! Anyway, a nice AA product and a great video!

    Just returned on this 777-300 on a First Class award ticket with AA. Worth every penny I spent. Both crews were outstanding and the seat was very thing I could want. Entertainment was good, Bose headsets were excellent. The food, however, was just so-so. Would absolutely use miles to get this service again. Great job AA.

    I have to say, I’ve never flown and i am looking to do a big USA trip in 2020, London to New York then New York to Los Angeles, so I’ve been looking at all the classes on flights, BA, AA, Virgin and i like the configuration or AA in first the most, it’s private and has window views with what seems like all forward facing unlike the others....it’s looking like I’ll choose AA to fly with.
    Thanks 🙏

    When I was younger and didn't understand things like "inertia", I didn't understand HOW a flight could take longer than 12 hours.
    In my head I thought, 12 hours should be the max! Because even if you need to get to the opposite end of the planet, you could just fly straight up and wait 12 hours for the planet to rotate ( AND THAT'S IF YOU WERE NOT EVEN MOVING!!! ).
    Yeah, I was a dumb little kid, lol.

    I actually think that this 1st Class is pretty amazing! I've never seen a Seat that turns sideways facing the windows into an office style format. That is a 5-Star in itself. Food, etc.; eh, I don't know. Over-all, yeah, I thought this was pretty awesome.

    Isn't the walk-up bar for business class too? Also, how did the massage function work? Great Video!!!

    I much prefer American Airlines to British airways first class. BA cram in the passengers and the first class seats on BA are not good. Also the service on AA is much better. I always use American where I can, within the US and international. Great vlog

    Great video. Stunning views of NY. Lounge looked ok (a bit too much beige), seat comfortable although as others have said similar to business on other airlines. The real let-down is the food which is anything but first class. I've seen/ate similar in Premium Economy on other airlines. Still, much better than being in Economy/Coach ;-)

      +ukpianoman2015 I'll call bullshit on your food comment. You will NEVER get that level of food on any Premium Economy flight anywhere. I'll also call it on the seat. While the AA First class seat is unfortunately not that much better than their Business class seat, it is mostly because their Business class seat is so good. For first class, this seat is pretty much on par with BA, LH and other major carriers around the world who have a First class. Is it the best out there? No. Is it like Business class? No. Hard figures prove that.

    • @ukdavepianoman
      @ukdavepianoman 8 лет назад

      I'll call your bullshit and raise it x3. I've flown Prem Econ and had food better than that. As for seat, I wasn't comparing AA First with AA Business. Etihad/Emirates Business are just as good as than AA First which is the point I was making. And Emirates/Etihad First blows all US Airlines First out the water.

      +ukpianoman2015 This is why you're a total tool and just talking trash online:
      1. You will NEVER see ANY Premium Economy food that's as good as ANY First Class food. EVER. You haven't tried this food, but you are so certain, which is called BULLSHIT.
      2. Emirates Business Class on the 777-300ER (same exact aircraft for best comparison) is 2-3-2 with a 60" pitch/79" bed length and a 20.5" wide seat.
      Etihad Pearl Business Class is 1-2-1, just like American's and with a 73" pitch/same bed length and 20" width of seat.
      American Airlines Business Class 43" pitch/75-78" bed length and 26" width.
      American International First Class has a 64" pitch/78" bed length and a 30" width.
      COLD HARD FACTS.
      20" wide seats are a half inch wider than Premium Economy and 10" narrower than American Airlines International First Class seats shown in video. American's seat has more privacy than Emirates as well! It also swivels into a proper work desk if you want it and all meals are served as separate courses, unlike Emirates and Etihad, which serve the meal all at once, just like American does in Business Class.
      Stop blowing smoke on the internet. You just end up looking stupid.

    • @ukdavepianoman
      @ukdavepianoman 8 лет назад

      +George Lurye Etihad/Emirates do not serve and never have served all the courses together in business class. FACT. Now who's blowing smoke. You seem desperate to defend USA airlines when the reality is that US airlines are miles behind others. I should know, I've flown in USA enough times.

    I actually like United's merger livery better than what they used to have... as well as American's newer livery... I hated those metal jets... :-P the planes used to look shorter than B777... w/ new one they look nice and long...

      But you are right about AA. The American Airlines tail livery is now much better and looks more in line with other great flag inspired designs like British airways.
