I loved that the DLC let you get almost all the legendaries from gen 1-7 before the 1st gym. I did this on Shield and I'm currently shiny hunting on Sword right now to do this with a full team of shiny legendaries (currently obtained shiny Mespirit, Azelf and Moltres leaving Ho-oh, Giratina and Mewtwo)
