You can try doing the same as this recipe, but without the wine, vodka and brandy. Keep the rest of ingredients plus passion fruit juice and beetroot juice, then a pinch of ginger and that's it! Proportions depends of how much vamp punch you're making.

Non alcoholic blood drink recipe, as requested! I basically make a rasberry syrup with less sugar (so 3 parts raspberry, either fresh or frozen), to one part sugar. Bring to boil and reduce till your desired consistency. I like to add some other flavors, like vanilla, balsamic reduction, basil, black pepper, etc, to make it more interesting. This can be used pretty much however you use a fruit syrup (added to drinks, ice cream topping, pancake/ waffle topping, etc), but if I put a small amount in a tiny glass and sip it slowly I feel like a proper vampire. It's so rich and the flavor is interesting and complicated. The texture is divine and the color is blood red. So, so, good.

here in finland we have this drink called blueberry soup, it looks just like blood and its the same consistency as well. just add vodka and its done 😆

Haha heck yeah, I remember loving to drink blueberry soup as a kid and pretend to be a vampire! But for a more realistic look you'd have to strain away the little seeds in it.
@@MorticiaLaMouranteAt least in sweden we usually don’t make blueberry soup on our own, but buy it from a store instead. There are some recipes on youtube you can search for, either with keyword “blueberry soup” or “blåbärssoppa”

Nothing to lol about. Alcohol is the most destructive drug on earth, yet people use it, and often even brag about abusing it, like it's nothing.
And ofc those same people look down on anyone who uses much less harmful drugs, and in much smaller doses than the drinkers.
It's great to see more people waking up to this.

I just made something like this for my brother a couple months ago! But instead of cups, i bought these cool fake blood pouches from amazon (made for putting drinks into, don't worry) and put it in those! I felt like a legit vampire 😌🖤 and wayyy to many people thought that shit was real 😭

They make products specifically to thicken thin liquids for people who are at risk for aspiration. The powder is gross but they also make a liquid that doesn’t change the taste. Could be a slightly easier method since you wouldn’t need to heat the liquid but either way the recipe looks yummy! 🧛♀️ ❤
I looked into those! But decided I'd find something cheaper and easier to obtain. Might try them yet in future experiments :)

Now THAT is awesome! I’ve been looking for a good cocktail blood recipe. I once served some cored apples, baked in the oven, with caramel poured into the centers and gummy worms sticking out of them.
At the vampire dinner they had blood. It was red wine and melted Raspberry sherbet.

Glucose syrup (Corn syrup) would make that first step easier and probably cheaper. That's how I make my food-safe fake blood.
Alternatively, there's simple syrup, which can be made at home the same way with equal parts sugar and water. It would be a bit more sugary, but simple syrup is used a lot in cocktails.
Oooh, arrowroot powder, brilliant! I think I'll try making a juice version of this for the kiddos with some of those weird nectars they sell now, they'll go bananas for such a spooky brew!

I drink my "bloody" concoction nightly of berrie metamucil with cherry syrup.. has the colour and thickness of blood.. but it's mostly to keep me regular and syrup to help me sleep 🤣

maybe just adding the alcoholic drinks after the heating part is better, to conserve the alcohol? it's almost glühwein, maybe add a cinnamon stick for some christmas blood :D
