Man, your videos are just so much fun to watch, even if I don't especially care about the product being demoed. In this case, I really found your comparison of the various modes enlightening. As someone that doesn't play around much with crunch of any kind (I'm a blues guy, the old stuff, not so much the SRV type stuff), a lot of this was news to me. Gave me some things to consider for sure. Thanks for doing what you do!

KOOL pedal ! Right up my alley. I've been playing mostly cleans these days and this pedal seems like it would be a perfect match. Thanks for a good demo. Your playing style is quite inspiring as well .... emphasizes the kinds of things i like to hear and play.

Super cool demo Jay, your amazing playing is parallel to your good natured personality. The “Super-Hard-On.”

Range Master in the front, Echoplex exciter circuit at the end.

As someone who has long held vague aspirations of chasing that Brian May tone, the Rangemaster treble boost part of this pedal is appealing.
Great playing, naturally, Jay, though I feel you are trying to colour our perceptions of this pedal with this video. The clean tone makes the world seems so grey :)

I wonder how the Super Conductor compares with Sourceaudio"s Zio.

Jay playing Queen is something my body can barely handle

I was impressed with how nicely all the boosts cleaned up when you backed off the volume. Great sounding guitar BTW, and, of course, as always, the playing was stellar.

Yeah, I've been using that setting tons: especially for solos!

Love the boost on the gristleking pedal. I don’t know exactly what style it is but it’s maybe a mix of a treble booster and a clean boost. Anyhow, I love it….but why not all the boosts?

Definitely yes on the "All The Boosts" idea!

Is the EP JFET setting essentially a clean boost?
    I like to have boost

The EP and RM are the more colored sounds.. Try the MA for a really pure clean boost sound and MF setting for something that brings a little touch of hi-fi clarity to your sound.

Such a shame that you didn't use a more flat response rig... Every sound in this vid kinda lives in the same frequency response...
