I love my G4 it continues to work well since 2021. For me my break is not too strong it is very soft (maybe too much lol) I have 2 flats and a few small accidents but the scooter is solid and continues to drive well. The 10" wheels feel so good and the 20 mph makes it really fun to ride. I live in Canada and this is definitely the best scooter we could buy for the price. The only negative point I have is that the battery life goes down pretty quickly. However the last battery bar is much longer than the others haha. It's understandable because I'm a heavy rider (around 230pounds) and yet he still rides fast! Brief opinion rather very positive after a year I recommend it.
I just rode mine for the first time today and last night when it arrived after charging - I think I got 12 miles before it slowed down to 10mph and then I had to charge it . I’m probably 245 right now
We have the GT Tour version - pretty much same thing. Gotrax looks sleek and has a professional feel. My only gripe is the range. We really only get about 10-12 miles of range. I am on the wait list for the new G6, which also has front shocks. The 20mph feels smooth, but we ride in gear 1 most of the time. I'm hoping to get at least half the range on the new models which are coming out soon.
Bro someone sold me a G4 thinking it was a G3 because she said it only went 15.5 but that was just on L1 when I put L2 and I bought it for $360 and it only had 50 miles on it

Here is a Throttle tip for u guys that For some reason Gotrax never ever mentions 🤷🏻♂️ . The throttle only becomes active when the display changes from odometer to speedometer. So you don’t have to push faster or double pump the throttle, you only have to Waite two seconds after you push off for the display to change from odometer to speedometer. ………. You’re welcome : )
Good question - I've gotten about 16 miles of range out of it. I usually find that my real range on any scooter is 60-70% of what's advertised, so this is pretty good. Companies always advertise a range that's based on some non existent scenario with ideal conditions.
I just got the G4 and on my first two charges, I got 12 miles. I do keep it in 2 and there are a few hills but not crazy long. I do wish the range was better.

I'm not sure if you'll see this comment since the video came out 6 months ago (great video by the way), but I was wondering if you think this scooter can support someone who is about 245 lbs (potentially with a 10-15 lb backpack as well)? I know the gotrax site rates the scooter for only 220 lbs, but I'm thinking it may be a sturdy enough scooter to support me. I expect that I may only be able to get up to 17/18mph on it but that is expected. I'm wondering though, do you think it may break on me?
A G3 definitley a no, A G4 would be questionable. Gotrax makes (great) budget scooters, but they are budget scooters. The G4 is beefier than the G3 for sure, so it depends on your riding environment. In my experience the G4 does flat environments no problem and even slight inclines. I notice the acceleration slows down on steeper inclines (I weigh 155 for context). So, I feel like a heavier rider would have a problem with steep inclines and would move slowly up slight inclines. So, I'd probably opt for something beefier.
Also it’s not showing mph but showing kmh instead. How can I change it and put it to MPH. I can’t see how many miles I’ve done nothing just battery and kmh.

The hiboy handebar always gets loose. Do you have that problem with this scooter?
Haven’t had an issue with it. GoTrax scooters also always have you screw in the handlebars yourself, so if it did you could easily tighten it.
