I come from a long line of chiefs very close. My Grandparents still with us are some of the 30 people and under to speak the absentee Shawnee language still. I am proud to be a descendant of Tecumseh and my great uncle (my grandmas brother) created the symbol for the absentee Shawnee in which Tecumseh and his brother were in that symbol. ❤️ so very proud.
Given that his only 2 grandsons through Paukeesaa died without any confirmed heirs by contemporary sources, being any sort of great grandchild doesn't seem to be likely.
My g g g g g g grandmother reminisced about him. He had his wigwam near where the family farm house was in West Flamboro, Ontario. She said he was a tall, copper coloured man of great dignity and bearing.
Had he survived the war of 1812 after the Americans won the war. He had plans to resurrect the confederation with Spanish assistance in Florida and put weapons into the slaves hands.
