So, let me see if I got this straight. God creates the sinner, creates the concept of sin then sets things up such as to allow man to sin conveniently placing the mechanism for the fall right within arms reach, he creates the serpent knowing in advance that it will lure man into sin. He does all this knowing the outcome, yet he is not the author of evil? He allows evil to exist despite being powefull enough to make it go away with the snap of a finger and has the incentive to do so being all good. It just doesn't add up no matter how much you try to weave apologetics around it.

Well it depends on the translation. The word ra‘ that is used means bad, evil, disaster- in short everything that is not good. So it only depends what transaltion you use. But just leaving all translation you can just say in short that in Isaiah 45:7 God is telling that he creates/forms/make all good thing and all bad things that are in this world. If you look at Proverb 16:4 where it's said "The Lord has made all for Himself, Yes, even the wicked for the day of doom." You can see that the God planed to create wicked people because he just wanted to. Even if there are many places where God is saying that he cares for us, well it doesn't change the fact that he created evil, that took the name Satan or Devil and he let him for example "torture" Job testing his loyality to God.

I pulled out my phone and said "I can find the exact verse that has God speaking and declaring this himself." She didn't want me to pull the verse up on my phone because she thought I was trying to distort the truth. "Let's use your bible then." She said "I'm not letting you near my bible." It's so screwed up how much religion blinds otherwise intelligent, rational people...

You don't even know what that verse means, you are the type of person to look up a comeback and then give it like you actually created it. You probably never touched a bible in your life and here you are grabbing a random verse, trying to make it say what you want it to say. And you can say it plainly written when you haven't read and understood the context around it. And you'll probably say "oh typically context rebuttal" but that is how the bible is, it is not just a story. It has poetry, analogy, hyperbolic, metaphors, song, instruction, simile, and much more. I can also take any verse and twist it to say what i what it to say aswell. If you actually know the context of the verse, you would come to realize that evil in THAT CONTEXT means calamity. Evil is a vague word with many different definitions. To get correctness you can look up what evil meant in greek, hebrew, or aramaic depending on the book. And yes God brings calamity ALL THE TIME, he controls the weather he created. Now why you may ask is another subject but know that what you did grabbing this verse like that shows you are uneducated in the subject and want to one up someone.

Suffering is a result of bad choices, being a result of sin. We have to take responsibility for our actions somehow or we wouldn't know the difference between good choices and bad choices. That's why God gave Adam and Eve choices. They chose wrongly and paid the consequences for their sin. God didn't create sin, man did by making bad choices. Lucifer sinned by making bad choices. It's called free will. We may have freedom of choice, but we don't have freedom from choice. We weren't made to be robots. We are humans. We make choices.

God has created everything good according to his will. But because there are so many phenomena, attributes and qualities in humans, we as humans dont morally choose and want, a perfectly good and perfectly moral God must have an even greater amount of attributes he doesnt want and chooses. For he is All Good and everything opposite of his will and goodness must be not his will and condemned, for it is evil. There are good beings created in his Image. Then there must be those that arent created in his Image. Now its not even his fault. We all dont want the negative things we create ourselves. Its natural. We create things by not wanting them. Suffering seems to happen anyway by us not wanting it. And so i believe God semi-created evil not by wanting it, but because he didnt want it. Evil in its very nature is born and grounded in everything we dont want. And some believe evil doesnt exist so therefore it cannot ever be killed. And its true. Evil doesnt exist. And I dont mean it doesnt exist persay. It semi-exists through God because even the Devil lives off Gods energy and source. He was created as the twister, the resister. The snake in the garden. It seems the Devil makes his way to us. Every day i question my morality increasingly. As if i feel Satan rising from hell and God is descending from heaven. I surely hope the End times will go out well.

The Hebrew word translated as “evil” (ra‘) in the King James Version of Isaiah 45:7 has two applications in the Bible. The term can be used in the sense of moral evil, such as wickedness and sin (Matthew 12:35; Judges 3:12; Proverbs 8:13; 3 John 1:11), or it can refer to harmful natural events, calamity, misfortune, adversity, affliction, or disaster. It is in this second sense that Isaiah speaks, and his meaning is reflected in most modern Bible translations of Isaiah 45:7 (emphasis added): “I make success and create disaster” (HCSB); “I make well-being and create calamity” (ESV); “I send good times and bad times” (NLT).
God does not create moral evil. For one thing, moral evil is not a “thing” to be made but a choice or intent contrary to God’s good purposes, His holy character, and His law. Moral evil does not conform to God and His will.

Didn’t all this happen before humans were even created? So, if this is all true, then evil was present well before humans came into the picture and therefore evil was created by some entity. He didn't simply know it would, He intended for it to happen. Which means for as long as God has been eternal (forever), the very concept OF evil has existed in God's mind also eternally.

I can answer these for you
1st question- evil comes from a lack in a good thing. Evil cannot exist on its own, its like cancer. If you take all the cancer out of a body, you have a better body. But if you take all the body out of cancer, you have nothing. Oh sure you can have sunshine without shadows, but you cannot have shadows without sunshine. You can have good without evil, but you cannot have evil without good.
2nd question- why would God create people he knows would go to hell. I got a question aswell, if you know something is going to happen ahead of time, does that mean that the thing shouldnt happen? If you were to know who would win the super bowl, and your team is losing. Would you try to change the outcome? If yes, then you are taking away their free will. It is the same with God, if God were to only create people that he knew would go to heaven then be would be taking to free will away from people he knew would be not giving them the choice, even though he knows the outcome. But just cause he knows the outcome, does that mean the people dont have free will? No ofcourse they do, he just knows how they will turn out

@romeo9782 Swallowed that one did you, no one but an unsound mind would choose to go to endless torture or annihilation and you have written that it is our own action/choice that saves us whereas scripture declares that it is grace alone that saves . "A man can recieve nothing unless it is given from heaven " John 3:27 Ephesians 2:8 declares the grace and faith of Christ saves us, a gift of God and not of yourselves and stresses not any action/choice of yourself. If you try to add your personal faith into the story Romans 4:16 reminds you that faith rests on grace. Thankfully it has nothing to do with you " the Lord directs a man's step, so then how can anyone know his way " Proverb 20:24 Just as John 3:27 declares even a man's faith is given by God Romans 12:3
What sin will prevent God from correcting sin (sin means to miss the mark" or make a mistake ) when He corrects or saves by grace (undeserved favor/kindness ) " Grace super exceeds sin for wherever sin is grace abounds all the more " Romans 5:20

The whole “free will,” cop out doesn’t cut it; if “God’s” supposed excuse for evil is “for freedom,” he must know, being omniscient, that his hands-off approach to the universe will yield precisely the horrible outcomes that he has permitted within his design. Knowing that humans have a general core of prosocial behavior but with selfish and often antisocial inclinations (which we see across religions and cultures), one should really consider the guilt lying in the baseline design of human behavior. Why are people, regardless of religion, generally opposed to the breach of consistent moral norms? I’ve always thought the free will argument lacks rigor. If you’re going to argue for a creator god, you need to imbue him with the capacity for mistakes if you’re going to make him benevolent. Frankly though, I think it’s silly why people don’t consider the possibility of a careless or even malicious god... but I suppose “dogma” is the explanation for that.

The thing here is. God is the ultimate creator of everything we can sense with our consciousness. This means god created evil. But it doesnt mean that god created humans with evil. Everything has an opposing force to it. Satan joined the evil even though god created hin for the light. The same way, humans are also created for the light not the darkness. That is why god sent Jesus to reverse what Adam did and gave humans a chance to know the truth.

    • @dr.biggman

God is both black and white. Light and darkness. Thats why satan was always the prince of darkness, not the king. Anyone who thinks that god is only light is wrong. @rocsaltjohn 2 года назад +1

You don’t have it right. Let’s look at your analogy from a different perspective. You would never do any of the things your comment says because unlike the dog, you know better. You know that if you did put treats and chicken out that the dog’s nature would make the dog eat the treats and the chicken. Why shouldn’t you just let your dog eat whatever it wants? Because you know that it’s not in its best interest.
This reoccurring idea that God puts things in our path to encourage us to do wrong is persistent but is false. We are not “dogs”. We are taught right from wrong from a young age. We also have a conscience that tells us (for instance) that taking something that doesn’t belong to us is wrong. When we choose to ignore our teachings or conscience, we are the ones to blame, not God.
But the good news is that Christ took the blame. We just must ask him to personally take that blame from us. We also can choose that. If we decide to choose not to, we choose to live as the stray in your example. God loves all, but he will not command you to love Him back. God (like any parent) wants only the best for you and me. Sometimes that means we don't do the things we think are best for us at the time.

A good question i have asked so many people but haven’t gotten an answer besides “God will answer all questions when he picks up his people” which is blind following.
1: what was the purpose of creating angels?
    - why does he need to be praised and glorified? Wouldn’t that be egotistical?
    - what made Lucifer believe that he can actually beat God and dethrone him? What could Lucifer have possibly told the angels making a whopping 1/3 of them turn their backs towards God when they can’t even defeat the Archangels in a fight?
Thats an insane amount of Angels who are made holy! Makes you think what does Lucifer/Satan know that WE do not know.
    - if God does not make mistakes, why did he have to flood the earth to save it? AND THEN later sacrifice his son to save us again?

    • @Pj-fm7oe
      @Pj-fm7oe 2 года назад

      1. Love, same reason he made humans.
      - he doesn't need anything, all glory and praise goes to God because he deserves it. The almighty is incapable of being egotistical, egotism is an undue sense of self importance. This is never true of God as he gets all the credit for creation, has perfect justice, knows all, is all powerful and is love. So it's never undue.
      - Satan challenged God's right to rule, his sovereignty. Claimed that people are better off ruling themselves. A challenge that would have gone nowhere if Adam had obeyed. He took the opportunity to corrupt man at the start.
-Satan tempted the other angels with the daughters of men, it says they noticed them. Understand that it was around 1500 years before the flood so it's possible they thought God was not going to act. You can be sure Satan was bragging about all the fun he was having.
There is by definition only one archangel, it means chief angel. I do agree that whatever they thought it was silly to think they were going to win, but as we know that reasoning doesn't stop those who don't want to obey the rules.
-The flood was to cleanse the earth, it says that they ruined the earth there was so much violence. Remember the situation, demons running around in human suits doing whatever they wanted with angelic power and spawning huge bullies called nephilim. Demonic influence is very bad today but image dealing with them in person. Also they were trying to corrupt the line of the promised seed, that seed was Jesus and his sacrifice saves obedient mankind, not the flood.
Someone with blind faith is not following Bible teaching. The Bible provides mountains of evidence and solid reasoning that true faith is based on.

I think evil came from free will. The ability to choose implies that at best there is a good and better option, and at worst a good and bad option. I think the reason evil exists is because free will was a must, otherwise what is a world without free will? A meaningless painting of gray, no colors, everything is just...existing. While evil was not what God wanted, it was the necessary risk to bring about the existence of good, to give meaning to everything. Choice gave the world the color it needed, to have meaning and aspirations, to strive to become good people.

These days it seems like there are very few Christians who are willing to come to grips with the fact that the Bible tells us that God actually does hate people. How are we to understand this hatred especially in light of his commands for us to love our neighbors?

So many people ignore their conscience that they become numb to the right and wrongs of the world. they now confuse the two. their thoughts are perverted. but it's their own individual choice that leads people to destruction. it's God's will that none will perish, but the choice is still up to you at the end of the day.

      What answer do you want?

    • @cole4540
      @cole4540 4 года назад

Would you agree that there is a universal right and wrong, good and evil? If you do then you know that these are inherent to humans and ingrained in us. We know it’s wrong to kill someone just as we know it feels good inside to love someone. We know 2+2=4 is right, and 2+2=5 is wrong. These are the laws of the universe. Since God created the universe, His dna if you want to call it that, or simply just His character, is spread throughout the universe and everything in it. So if God is righteous, loving, just, etc, why is there evil? The answer to this is very logical and is shown throughout creation, just as the previously mentioned laws are. For example, we know what light is because darkness exists. If darkness never existed, we would not know what light was because it had always been. If no evil was in the universe, we would not know what good was for the same reasoning. Evil was a reaction to the creation of everything, just as light is to darkness, when you turn on the light the darkness hides. This is why there is a heaven and hell. Many ask why can’t God save everyone. The right answer to this is because darkness cannot exist in the light, both metaphorically and literally. In creation of the universe, there must be a dimension that contains hell and a dimension that contains heaven, not only pure good and pure heaven. I hope this helped answer any questions

Sorry Dr. Cabel, but you really did not answer the question correctly. If God is ALL POWERFUL (and He is because He's omnipotent), if He is ALL KNOWING (and he is because He's omniscient), if He is ALL SEEING (and He is because He's omnipresent) then why could not evil be in the mind of the Almighty Creator when he began to create the universe and everything in existence? For everything that God set His mind to do he created an opposite to it. Go back to the very beginning: there was first a void where nothing existed. Then God spoke existence (the opposite) into the void and that which He spoke began to fill the void. There was darkness covering the face of the deep and God spoke light (the opposite) into the darkness. When he created man in His image it was in the spirit. But when He formed man from the ground and breathed life into this physical form of His image and he (man) became a living soul, then he became the opposite of the image of God. And from the man, He (God) created his (man's) opposite..... woman.
It was not God's intent for man to possess the nature of evil because of the qualities and the power that lies within it. In the book of Genesis, chapter one, verse 31, we see that the work that God had done in the six days of creation was very good.
"And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day."
And as we very well know, the opposite of everything good is bad or in other words, evil. So where did this evil come from? Did Lucifer, Satan, the devil create it? Or did it come from God, because He knew, afore time, that there would become opposition to His divine nature and glory because of His omniscience, His omnipotence, and His omnipresence.
I don't think it to be wrong to have such thinking, but in still, I don't blame God for the evil things that take place among men and creation. I blame man for taking on the one quality of the nature of evil and that one quality is SIN.
    Peace and God bless

If you define omnipotence like you do a dog is omnipotent a cat is omnipotent and so are all humans.

      @wtom04 7 лет назад +7

+Reforma Your comment - "Isaiah 45:7 "I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and CREATE EVIL: I the LORD do all these things."
My comment - Many Calvinists will falsely teach that man has no free will especially in regards to the free gift of eternal life. They will falsely teach that God is the author of sin and evil based upon an eisegesis of Isaiah 45:7, Amos 3:6, and many other Scriptural passages taken out of context and used in isolation in support of their false doctrine. They will falsely teach that it is God that causes man to do evil and sin and at the same time teach that man is held accountable which makes no logical sense.
Passages such as Isaiah 45:7 and Amos 3:6 in the KJV need to be read in light of other Bible translations and Scriptural passages that give the reader the context and better clarity of what is being taught when it says in those passages that God "created evil."
      1) Isaiah 45:7 KJV currently reads, "I form the light, and CREATE DARKNESS: I make peace, and CREATE EVIL: I the LORD do all these things."
      2) Isaiah 45:7 NIV - I form the light and CREATE DARKNESS, I bring prosperity and CREATE DISASTER; I, the LORD, do all these things.
      3) Isaiah 45:7 NASB - The One forming light and creating darkness, Causing well-being and CREATING CALAMITY; I am the LORD who does all these.
      4) Amos 3:6 in the KJV, it currently reads, "Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be EVIL in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?"
      5) Amos 3:6 NIV - When a trumpet sounds in a city, do not the people tremble? When DISASTER comes to a city, has not the LORD caused it?
      6) Amos 3:6 NASB - If a trumpet is blown in a city will not the people tremble? If a CALAMITY occurs in a city has not the LORD done it?
When one looks at these different translations and do a comparison, one will discover that the word "evil" in the context of Isaiah 45:7 and Amos 3:6 refers to "disaster" and "calamity" that God brings upon those who are willfully disobedient, unfaithful, and who do wicked acts, whether saved or unsaved. In other words, those people reap what they willfully sow. God chastises them by bringing "evil", "disaster", and "calamity" as a wake up call.
One should NOT read Isaiah 45:7, Amos 3:6 and other related passages in isolation and out of context and draw a conclusion from that method because in doing so, one will most likely get the wrong interpretation. Christians need to read those passages in light of other Scriptural passages such as the ones in Jeremiah to get a better understanding of whatIsaiah 45:7, Amos 3:6 is really saying.
The following passages in Jeremiah explain why God brings evil, disaster, and calamity upon people. God does not do these things in a whimsical, arbitrary, and capricious way according to the "secret counsels of His will" and according to His "sovereign good pleasure" which is what Calvinism would falsely teach.
God gives the reason why through the prophet Jeremiah when people questioned why evil, disaster, and calamity fell upon them:
      1) Jeremiah 1:14, 16 - 14 Then the Lord said unto me, Out of the north an EVIL shall break forth upon all the inhabitants of the land.
16 And I will utter my judgments against them touching all their wickedness, who have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other gods, and worshipped the works of their own hands.
      2) Jeremiah 4:1,4,6 - If thou wilt return, O Israel, saith the Lord, return unto me: and if thou wilt put away thine abominations out of my sight, then shalt thou not remove. 4 Circumcise yourselves to the Lord, and take away the foreskins of your heart, ye men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem: lest my fury come forth like fire, and burn that none can quench it, because of the evil of your doings.6 Set up the standard toward Zion: retire, stay not: for I will bring EVIL from the north, and a great destruction.
      3) Jeremiah 4:18 - 18 Thy way and thy doings have procured these things unto thee; this is thy wickedness, because it is bitter, because it reacheth unto thine heart.
      4) Jeremiah 5:19 - 19 And it shall come to pass, when ye shall say, WHEREFORE DOETH THE LORD OUR GOD ALL THESE THINGS UNTO US? then shalt thou answer them, Like AS YE HAVE FORSAKEN ME, and SERVED STRANGE GODS in your land, so shall ye serve strangers in a land that is not your's.
      5) Jeremiah 6:19 - 19 Hear, O earth: behold, I WILL BRING EVIL upon this people, even the fruit of their thoughts, BECAUSE THEY HAVE NOT HEARKENED UNTO MY WORDS, NOR TO MY LAW, BUT REJECTED IT.
      6) Jeremiah 9:12-14 - 12 Who is wise enough to understand this? Who has been instructed by the Lord and can explain it? WHY HAS THE LAND BEEN RUINED AND LAID WASTE LIKE A DESERT THAT NO ONE CAN CROSS?
13 The Lord said, “IT IS BECAUSE THEY HAVE FORSAKEN MY LAW, WHICH I SET BEFORE THEM; THEY HAVE NOT OBEYED ME OR FOLLOWED MY LAW. 14 INSTEAD, THEY HAVE FOLLOWED THE STUBBORNNESS OF THEIR HEARTS; THEY HAVE FOLLOWED THE BAALS, AS THEIR ANCESTORS TAUGHT THEM."
      7) Jeremiah 11:10-11 - 10 They are turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers, which refused to hear my words; and they went after other gods to serve them: the house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken my covenant which I made with their fathers.
11 Therefore thus saith the Lord, Behold, I WILL BRING EVIL UPON THEM, which they shall not be able to escape; and though they shall cry unto me, I will not hearken unto them.
      8) Jeremiah 11:17 - 17 For the Lord of hosts, that planted thee, HATH PRONOUNCED EVIL AGAINST THEE, for the evil of the house of Israel and of the house of Judah, which they have done against themselves to provoke me to anger in offering incense unto Baal.
      9) Jeremiah 16:10-12 - 10 And it shall come to pass, when thou shalt shew this people all these words, and they shall say unto thee, WHEREFORE HATH THE LORD PRONOUNCED ALL THIS GREAT EVIL AGAINST US? OR WHAT IS OUR INIQUITY? OR WHAT IS OUR SIN THAT WE HAVE COMMITTED AGAINST THE LORD OUR GOD?
      11 Then shalt thou say unto them, BECAUSE YOUR FATHERS HAVE FORSAKEN ME, saith the Lord, and HAVE WALKED AFTER OTHER GODS, AND HAVE SERVED THEM, AND HAVE WORSHIPED THEM, and have forsaken me, and have not kept my law;
12 And ye have done worse than your fathers; for, behold, ye walk every one after the imagination of his evil heart, that they may not hearken unto me:
      10) Jeremiah 19:3-5 - 3 And say, Hear ye the word of the Lord, O kings of Judah, and inhabitants of Jerusalem; Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I WILL BRING EVIL UPON THIS PLACE the which whosoever heareth, his ears shall tingle.
      4 Because they have forsaken me, and have estranged this place, and have burned incense in it unto other gods, whom neither they nor their fathers have known, nor the kings of Judah, and have filled this place with the blood of innocents;
5 They have built also the high places of Baal, to BURN THEIR SONS WITH FIRE for burnt offerings unto Baal, which I commanded not, nor spake it, neither came it into my mind:
      11) Jeremiah 19:15 - 15 Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring upon this city and upon all her towns all the EVIL that I have pronounced against it, BECAUSE THEY HAVE HARDENED THEIR NECKS, that they might not hear my words.
      12) Jeremiah 22:8-9 - 8 And many nations shall pass by this city, and they shall say every man to his neighbour, WHEREFORE HATH THE LORD DONE THUS UNTO THIS GREAT CITY? 9 Then they shall answer, BECAUSE THEY HAVE FORSAKEN THE COVENANT OF THE LORD THEIR GOD, AND WORSHIPED OTHER GODS, AND SERVED THEM.
It is important also to remember that there are many instances when "evil", "disaster", and "calamity" falls upon the righteous because of Satanic oppression and persecution. The example of Job falls in this category. Those instances are separate from the instances where God brings evil, disaster, and calamity.
      1) God brings evil, disaster, and calamity upon the wicked because of their wickedness and evil. They get a taste of their own medicine. God also brings evil, disaster, and calamity upon the righteous when they go off the path and become unfaithful, disobedient, and do wicked acts. This is chastisement and a wake up call from God.
      2) Satan brings evil, disaster, and calamity upon the righteous in an attempt to discourage, anger, frustrate, corrupt, and in an attempt to thwart when the righteous are living in holiness, obedience, and faithfulness. This has always been the motive of Satan on those who live righteously.
Scripture is clear that there is no evil or darkness at all in God - 1 John 1:5, James 1:13 nor does God tempt anyone with evil. The Bible is clear that evil came into existence when Lucifer fell and became Satan with his infamous 5 "I wills" declarations in Isaiah 14:12-15 and was self-generated due to his immense pride on account of his great beauty and status as an angel of God - Ezekiel 28:13-17. Yes, God allowed evil to come into existence, but it would be incorrect to assert that God "created" evil. To say that God "created" evil is to say that He is the author of evil thereby exonerating Satan.
Since God gave man free will to choose, God allowed evil to come into existence so that man has a choice to choose good or evil with it's accompanying consequences. Man has had free will since the Garden of Eden - Genesis 2:16-17. God is a God of love and because of His very nature and character, He gave man freewill to choose to accept or reject Him with it's accompanying consequences because man is not a mindless puppet on a string. God created the ABILITY/POTENTIAL for man to decide. This of course, is something that Calvinism denies incessantly.

That’s the thing; we DO intend to sin. Sin is corruption. It is a falsity of what is good. It is to miss the mark. Original Sin (more accurately called Ancestral Sin) simply means that Adam and Eve made a choice to rebel against God, to seize autonomy and look inwards instead of outwards. Thus, since mankind is the very image of God, and made to be his representatives to creation, death and corruption were brought into the world through their actions, and the intentions of man’s heart became darkened. Often, even when we think we mean well, our intentions aren’t truly good. Due to the fallen state of the world and our subsequent inclination towards sin, we choose to mimic Adam’s sin (though not usually in the exact same way). And so all humanity is separated from God ontologically and spiritually due to sin and death. Christ dealt with both by trampling down the power of death by his own, and atoning for our sins by the shedding of his blood (his life).

Firstly- its God, anything other is idolatry
Second- you do realize angels have free will just like us right? They are God's spiritual servant, they have choice and they were made perfect like adam and eve. You can see angels using their free will the turn away from God, as did Lucifer because he was power hungry. When you create free creatures you would know the outcome if they were to betray you. God knew this. Then you might ask, why did he create them in the first place? Well you can ask your parents the same question. Would you call your parents evil even though they conceived you and knew you would do bad? No, you are responsible for your own wrongdoings and instead of being humble and admitting to them. You turn to the creator and shake your fist at him.

If God knows everything (omniscient) then he knows everything he will ever do. This means he can never choose not to do something or choose to do something other than what he was always going to do. God by "virtue" of his omniscience, cannot be spontaneous and there goes his omnipotence. His characteristics as ascribed by humans are inherently contradictory.
But even if they were perfectly "balanced goal posts", one can never be omniscient because one can never know what he doesnt know he doesnt know, God or otherwise.
Does God have free will? Because if he does, he cant be omniscient as he could never change his mind and do something else, something spontaneous, since he already knows everything he will ever do, including whether he ever changed his mind or not, so he can never truly change his mind and do something new, new to himself that is. God can never surprise himself. If he is omniscient, he doesnt have free will. If he is omnipotent then he should be able to give himself free will, but then he cant be omniscient.
Moreover, if God is omniscient, he can never have a novel thought, a new idea, which invalidates the concept of creation. Any creative effort requires novelty, which is absent in the context of omniscience.
There are three domains of knowledge, things you know you know, things you know you dont know and things you dont know you dont know. And you can never know that you have exhausted the list of things that you dont know you dont know because by definition you dont know what you dont know you dont know. Omniscience is simply inherently incoherent on its own. And the situation is only getting worse when you pair it with other characteristics such as omnipotence. For one thing, you can never learn something new. And of course as already mentioned, you can never know what you dont know you dont know which instantly invalidates the concept of omniscience as well as omnipotence. If God could do anything, he could learn everything he doesnt know he doesnt know, but how would he know when he's finished? How would he know theres nothing left that he doesnt know he doesnt know?
Even if omniscience wasnt inherently illogical, God could still never know whats outside of God because it would be incompatible with omnipresence. And I would go one further and tell you that God cannot even know everything that is inside of God because one can never make completely valid observations regarding a system from inside the system. That is to say, you can never perfectly know the state of a system from within the system because you are making observations while being part of said system and the act of observing the system is affecting it so there will always be uncertainty regarding the observation/knowledge of the state of the system and there goes your omniscience again. Of course, unless God could extrapolate himself outside of the system which would place God outside of the system he is observing violating omnipresence. God cannot be omnipresent and omniscient because he can never know everything with precision about the state of the space he is occupying. The principle of uncertainty holds, God or not.
None of the characteristics ascribed to the Abrahamic God are internally coherent, individually or in concert.

There are two key facts that need to be considered. (1) The word translated “evil” is from a Hebrew word that means “adversity, affliction, calamity, distress, misery.” Notice how the other major English Bible translations render the word: “disaster” (NIV, HCSB), “calamity” (NKJV, NAS, ESV), and “woe” (NRSV). The Hebrew word can refer to moral evil, and often does have this meaning in the Hebrew Scriptures. However, due to the diversity of possible definitions, it is unwise to assume that “I create evil” in Isaiah 45:7 refers to God bringing moral evil into existence.

in my perspective i see it as this: God, being omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent, HAS to be evil AS WELL AS GOOD. he is all things that you can think of and he is more. to understand God, that is impossible, the idea that he is innately a "good" force i think is somewhat missleading (with 'good' being almost entirely subjective beyond the framework of objective morality, which is a chicken/egg discussion until we nail down good and evil first, would be pointless to talk about)
due to the fact that he is both good and evil, he is both and neither at the same time, he is more than the diachotomy... he IS the diachotomy.
