Back in 1995, I went to a holiday show with a bunch of acts. Most were bands from the time like Dinosaur Jr. and Live, but older acts were the headliners. Simple Minds had a video crew there. I don't know if they were doing a live event for some channel. After their set, the Go-Gos performed. There weren't very good, but I've read that's always been the case. The closer was Tom Jones, and he was the best.
A person could write a book about all the talent loaded onto that stage . The backing vocalist alone blasting off with the trumpets in perfect harmony totally blew me away .

There are not enough superlatives to describe just how good this is. Nuff said.
This is from 1999, but it is not the Top of the Pops performance where he wiped the floor of the other acts. This is still brilliant from a master.
