    A “weird day” fishing for you is the best day of the year for a lot of folks!😂 this was a fun one to watch. Hand lining that red was awesome!

    Great fishing Justin!
    I was surprised when you said you're using a 40lb leader for inshore. I tend toward using a 20lb in the summer and a 10lb in the winter......and a very light drag.
    Great job getting the Redfish out of the trees. That's a true fisherman!!
    Tight lines!!!

      Interesting, do you get Snook and Tarpon in your area?

    • @reellifewithq572
      @reellifewithq572 Год назад

      20 lb leader is not going to work around here for our Snook and Tarpon, even the small ones will fray right through that easily.

      @justin_menendez  Год назад +1

      Unfortunately, the fish around me are almost always within 10 feet of something they can can break me off on. Even with 40 lb just the right mangrove root or dock piling will break it.

    Another great video! Good seeing some more healthy mature trout than what's been around there the last few years. And better seeing them all handled with proper care as always on this channel. Long time subscriber and the videos here are what first caught my attention. I grew up in the canals less than 500 yards from the second half of this video and can't say how many hours I spent on that shoreline/flat as a kid in an old blue highsider or kayak. Keep the content coming so we can give more 👍. Congrats on the bachelor party and what's to come🤙
