I recommend the Engel rechargeable aerator. It's very quiet and has four different motor speed settings. Off a full charge it will last me two or three 5 to 8hr fishing trips. Good snook and content
Frabill has a new line of rechargeable ones that Im going to put to the test soon since part of my sponsorship with Penn, Fenwick, Berkley etc. includes Frabill. That's why I rarely use circle hooks, been catching most of my Snook and Tarpon on 6/0 offset J hooks

I bought a Lews 7’6” custom light speed stick HM 85million modulus graphite rod for $180 and I thought that was expensive. Fenwick 7’6 medium for $475, whew, out of my budget.

When you retie how short do you go before using a whole new leader? Do you take the time with a FG or do you use the Crazy Alberto. I have had zero problems using the Alberto.
I use Alberto every single time ever. Leader i might go down to about 18” at shortest. You’d be surprised how short you can go especially with live bait.

I’ve been using a 7’6” heavy, he is using a 8’ extra heavy. He said the reel is a penn battle 5000 or 5500, I can’t remember which. It’s in his earlier videos from about a year ago,
Something 7’6” medium with a 2500-4000 size reel will be great. In this video I’m using PENN Authority 3500.

Nice fish and all but why guess at the size and make it seem bigger than it is when your standing on a tape measure that’s built in to the seadek
I have caught a measured hundreds and hundreds of fish its not that important to me to know the exact size of the fish. I try to limit the handling as much as possible to protect the fish. Also my ruler only goes up to 36 inches so if the fish is larger than that I don’t see a reason to measure.

He was using that rod a year ago before you could buy it from Fenwick, in his videos from a year ago he says what it is.
7’6” medium Fenwick World Class Inshore rod. Its part of the new lineup from Fenwick for the fall. Rod will retail for $475. If you are looking for a more budget friendly option I recommend the HMG inshore model with same specs.

Fishing for big snook in south Florida is like fishing for trophy bass in a well stocked pond. Cool fish but I'd rather chase that 30" trout all day
Definitely not, there’s some days that are insane, some days that are horrible, I can promise it’s not like a stocked pond 😅

Might want to be careful with holding fish in water a SHARK DON'T CARE. BE LIKE THAT ONE DUDE WAS HOLDING A FISH LIKE THAT AND SHARK COMES UP AND GRAB FISH AND HIS ARM PULLED HIM OVERBOARD . BUT HE HAD PEOPLE WITH HIM TO SAVE HIM. YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT CAN HAPPEN.
