38 വർഷമായി സന്യാസിനി യായി ജീവിക്കുന്ന എൻറെ അനുഭവം പറയട്ടെ.... ഞാൻ സന്യാസത്തെ പുകഴ്ത്തുക യല്ല... സത്യാവസ്ഥ പറയുകയാണ്. നന്നായിജീവിച്ചാൽ ഇത്രയും നല്ലൊരു ജീവിതം ഈ ലോകത്ത് ഇല്ല. പ്രശ്നങ്ങളുണ്ട്, പ്രതിസന്ധികൾ ഉണ്ട്,പ്രലോഭനങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ട്, പക്ഷേ നമ്മെ സംരക്ഷിക്കാൻ ദൈവം എപ്പോഴും കൂടെയുണ്ടാവും. ഇത് ദൈവ വിശ്വാസത്തിൽ അധിഷ്ഠിതമായ ഒരു ജീവിതമാണ്. വി ശ്വാസം ഇല്ലാത്ത ഒരാൾക്ക് ഇത് ശുദ്ധ മണ്ടത്തരമാണ്. നാടകകൃത്ത് ഫ്രാൻസിസ് നൊറോണ ഈവിഭാഗത്തിൽപ്പെടുന്ന ആള്ണെന്ന് തോന്നുന്നു... നാടകം ശുദ്ധ മണ്ടത്തരമാണ്.... സന്യാസവും ആയി യാതൊരു ബന്ധവും ഇല്ല. ഞാൻ പതിനേഴാമത്തെ വയസ്സിൽ ആണ് ഒരു അർത്തിനി യായി (aspirant) മഠത്തിൽ എത്തിയത്. എന്നോടൊപ്പം ചുറുചുറുക്കുള്ള, സുന്ദരികളായ, ആടാനുംപാടാനും ജോലിചെയ്യാനും പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കാനും എല്ലാം പ്രാപ്തിയുള്ള 19 സഹോദരിമാർകൂടി ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അങ്ങനെ ആ ബാച്ചിൽ ഞങ്ങൾ ഞങ്ങൾആകെ 20 പേർ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ഞങ്ങളുടെഎല്ലാ കാര്യങ്ങളും ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുന്ന തി നായി സ്നേഹമുള്ള ,പക്വതയുള്ള, പാക ത യുള്ള ഒരു സിസ്റ്ററിനെ നിയോഗിച്ചിരുന്നു. ഞങ്ങൾ അവരെ സ്നേഹത്തോടെ ഗു രുത്തി അമ്മേ എന്നാണ് വിളിച്ചിരുന്നത്.. ഒരമ്മയുടെ, ജേഷ്ഠ സഹോദരിയുടെ ,സ്നേഹത്തോടെ, അവർഞങ്ങൾക്ക് വേണ്ട എല്ലാ പരിശീലനങ്ങളും നൽകിയിരുന്നു. ആ മഠത്തിൽ അന്ന് 20ഓളം സിസ്റ്റേഴ്സ് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ഏതാനും പേർഅടുത്തുള്ള സ്കൂളിൽ പഠിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ..വരായിരുന്നു. ജോ ലി കൾ ,എല്ലാംഞങ്ങൾ ഒരുമിച്ച്, വിവിധ ഗ്രൂപ്പുകൾ ആയിട്ടാണ് ചെയ്തിരുന്നത്. മഠം വൃത്തിയാക്കുക, കറി ക്ക് അരിയാൻ സഹായിക്കുക, മുയലുകൾക്ക് തീറ്റ കൊടുക്കുക, പൂന്തോട്ടത്തിൽ പണിയുക തുടങ്ങിയ ലളിതമായ ജോലികളാണ് ഞങ്ങളെക്കൊണ്ട് ചെയ്യിച്ചിരുന്നുത്. പരസ്പരം സംസാരിച്ചു, തമാശകൾ പറഞ്ഞു ആണ് ഞങ്ങൾ ജോലികൾ ചെയ്തിരുന്നത്. അത് ഞങ്ങൾക്ക്ഒരിക്കലും ഭാരമായി തോന്നിയില്ലെന്ന് മാത്രമല്ല രസകരമായി അനുഭവപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്തു. എല്ലാ കാര്യങ്ങളിലും പ്രാർത്ഥന,ഭക്ഷണം, ഉല്ലാസം ,ജോലി ഞങ്ങൾസിസ്റ്റേഴ്സ് നോട് ഒത്തുചേർന്നാണ് ചെയ്തിരുന്നത്. ഏതാണ്ട്നാലുവർഷത്തോളം നീളുന്ന പരിശീലനത്തിന് ശേഷമാണ് ഞങ്ങൾസിസ്റ്റേഴ്സ് ആയി വ്രതം ചെയ്യുന്നത്. അതായത് നാലുവർഷം സന്യാസജീവിതംഎന്താണെന്ന് കണ്ടുകേട്ടും പഠിച്ച ശേഷമാണ് സന്യാസത്തിലേക്ക് പ്രവേശിക്കുന്നത്. അങ്ങനെ എളുപ്പം ഓടിച്ചെന്ന് ,സ്വീകരിക്കാവുന്ന ജീവിതം അല്ല ഇത്. നല്ലപഠനവും ,പ്രാർത്ഥനയും ,വിശ്വാസവും എല്ലാം വേണം. ഒരു കാര്യം പറയാൻ വിട്ടുപോയി......ഞങ്ങളുടെ കൂടെയുണ്ടായിരുന്ന മൂന്ന് സഹോദരിമാർ ഈ കാലയളവിൽ സന്യാസം ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചു പോയി. അവർക്ക് താല്പര്യം ഇല്ലാതിരുന്നതിനാൽ ഞങ്ങൾഅവരെ സ്നേഹത്തോടെ യാത്രയയച്ചു. ബാക്കി 17 പേരും തിരുവസ്ത്രം സ്വീകരിച്ചു. ഇന്ന് വിവിധ മഠങ്ങളിൽ ഞങ്ങൾ സന്തോഷത്തോടെ ,സമാധാനത്തോടെ, ജീവിക്കുന്നു. ഞാൻ ഒരു ഹൈസ്കൂൾ അധ്യാപികയാണ്. എനിക്ക് എൻറെ കോൺഗ്രിഗേഷൻ നല്ല വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം തന്നു. Phdചെയ്യാൻ വരെയുള്ള അവസരം എനിക്ക് ഒരുക്കി തന്നു. പക്ഷേ എനിക്ക് താല്പര്യം ഇല്ലാത്തതു കൊണ്ട് ചെയ്തില്ല. അധികാരികളെ ഞങ്ങൾ സ്നേഹത്തോടെ അമ്മേ എന്നാണ് വിളിക്കുന്നത്. സഹോദ ർ ഏക മനസ്സായി ഒരുമിച്ച് വസിക്കുന്നത് എത്ര വിശിഷ്ടവും മനോഹരവും ആണ് എന്നബൈബിൾ വാക്യം ആണ്എനിക്ക് ഓർമ്മയിൽ വരുന്നത്. ഏറ്റവുംസംതൃപ്തമായ കാര്യം ഞാൻ ഇതുവരെ പറഞ്ഞില്ല. വിശുദ്ധ ഗ്രന്ഥം ബൈബിൾ വായിക്കാനുംപഠിക്കാനും ധ്യാനി ക്കാ നും ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് ഒരുപാട് സമയം ഉണ്ട്. അതാണ് ഞങ്ങളുടെജീവിതത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ സന്തോഷം. അത് പറഞ്ഞറിയിക്കാൻ ആവില്ല. അനുഭവിച്ചു തന്നെ അറിയണം. ഫ്രാൻസിസ് നേരോണ ക് സമയംഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ ബൈബിൾ പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് പുതിയ നിയമംപഠിക്കുന്നത് നന്നായിരിക്കും. സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ,സുഭാഷിതങ്ങൾ,പ്രഭാഷകൻ, എശ യാ 58. അദ്ധ്യായം.... പുതിയ നിയമം തുടങ്ങിയവ ഞാൻ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് ശുപാർശ ചെയ്യുന്നു. എനിക്ക് ഏറ്റവും ഇഷ്ടം 139_സങ്കീർത്തനം ആണ്. ദൈവവചനംതേനിനേക്കാൾ മധുരമുള്ളത് ആണ്. അത് അനുഭവിച്ചറിയാൻ എൻറെ സന്യാസജീവിതം ആണ് എന്നെ സഹായിച്ചത്. കക്ക് കളി കാർക്ക്ഇതു വല്ലതും അറിയാമോ? ദൈവം അനുഗ്രഹിക്കട്ടെ......
