In this video I go over the aging Nintendo Switch Lite and if it's worth purchasing in 2024, or holding off on as there may be a new Nintendo Switch on the horizon! - Игры
I love my Nintendo Switch Lite
It’s a good device for what it does!
Nice review. Sceen looks hella washed. Should be max $200.
My video I edited kind of off, I wouldn’t say the screen is that bad
It's worth it, it's cheap + it can be modified and you have so many games to play before the nintendo switch 2 comes out
I've never modded it, but that's a good consideration
In addition, on the modified switch you can install a psp emulator and your library expands with many more games
@muveeer that’s a great idea! I loved the PSP
I’ve had my switch lite in grey since 2020. I love it, play it almost every day, more than my series x. It’s such fun and the library of digital games, especially indie are fantastic!
Yeah? The Nintendo library is great for Switch
I bought one just this past Friday I love it. Much easier to take on the go so I can play it during work breaks. I get I can do that with the other switch but the switch lite is just much more compact
The size is definitely great for portability!
Gonna get one soon always thought these things were cool
Yeah they’re good for what they are, I just don’t like the price point
@@Mrlostmoniker agreed
Personally, I reccomend purchasing a regular Nintendo Switch (really, I reccomend the OLED). However, if you are 100% certain that you will never once play on a television... then MAYBE the Lite is for you. As a dedicated handheld console, the redbox Switch and OLED are still better. If you found a used one for maybe $100 in good shape, at that point it would be worth it. I have witnessed Switch Lite regret from two friends. They didn't use them once they purchased them and eventually purchased OLEDs (which they do love and use). I have a redbox Switch. If I was buying another exclusively for handheld gaming, I would still absolutely buy the OLED.
Yeah I guess it fully depends on money and if it fits your needs, but I could see people regretting it for sure
I’m from the US, we can get it for $200 it’s not outdated or lame it’s just fine for 200 bucks.
I think the price is still steep considering the tech that’s in it at this junction, but Nintendo has excellent games regardless that do make up for it to a point
@@Mrlostmoniker 200 bucks is just fine where it’s at if you’re a cheapskate then I understand. Just stick with your Xbox one or PS4
Not a cheapskate, it’s old tech.
I just bought a blue switch light on EBay, I am planning on getting Smash Bros, Animal Crossing, Super Mario Wonder and Brain Academy on it. I want to know if playing games like Zelda Tears Of Kingdom is ok on a lite.
It’s definitely ok on the Lite, I’ve played it with my son on his
I have gone through several switch lite consoles myself and I haven't had any joycon drift issues either. I prefer the switch lite more than the other switch consoles.
Yeah, that’s good to hear! The switch lite is good, I just hope Nintendo refreshes the devices soon and drops the prices on the Switch/Switch Lite
I'm bought Switch Lite in February last year, so already 1st anniversary. Played TOTK 150 hours, BOTW 115 hours, Hogwarts Legacy 70 hours, Fortnite 670 hours etc. Very fun ❤. Planning to buy a Switch OLED in coming months. Switch 2 next year right
damn dude 1k+ hours in a year?
@@coztfu yup, I lost my job last year & not yet find another job. I'm not married yet, so I have a time. That's why I bought Switch Lite and play it likes crazy
Yeah TOTK is a game I've easily put over 90 hours into, still playing it now!
@@Mrlostmoniker same. I'm still not yet go to 4th temple. TOTK have 5 temples right. I'm just likes go around likes I do in Hogwarts Legacy
Great video! It's crazy how expensive things are in Canada. Hard to buy any games day 1 when they're $90.
Yeah it’s brutal
I have a regular and a lite.
One thing that can be really annyoing imo with both is if you want to play text heavy games rpg's etc it can be tough reading for long as in game text can be tiny and an absolute chore to play quite a lot of games.
If it's one or the other i'd go for a regular.
The lite has the plus of it is a good deal more portable, if you want to take it out.
I think it's still a good time to buy a Swith as it's library is amazing at this point, a lot of really good games can be had for fair money now, apart from the Ninty published titles, those just seem to hold a premium price.
They're not the most interesting games anyway imo.
If your happy to download, there are always good titles going in the eshop sale.
😊
The library is great, but the hardware is definitely showing its age, which makes the price tag less appealing to me
I’m contemplating getting a switch lite at a neighboring town Walmart. I already have a PS five so I’m totally OK with the good old-fashioned optimum handheld. It would be nice if it was more like $175 or 150 but I don’t foresee the price coming down any and the new Nintendo switch 2 is probably gonna have a pretty fat price point. Ugh nice video. Thanks for the information and update.
Yeah the price is my main issue with the Switch Lite, otherwise it is a quality Nintendo product and you have a great library of games for it
Switch oled is the best I love it and all I play is handheld mode too
Yeah for sure!
Is used switch lite still good or not or should i get a brand new switch lite not a used one
I don’t see the issue with buying used as long as you test it out before hand, my main reservation right now with the Switch Lite is that it’s very pricey for what I consider aging hardware
How battrey life for fc24 or zelda botw serr ?
My son gets about 4-5 hours on extended playtime, don’t know about on BOTE
Idk for that price, PS Vita would be better
But hey, for those who like their switch lite good for youu ❤
Can you even get a PS Vita anymore?
Not with the Library of games for the Switch.
sure play skyrim on the vita then
not from sony anymore but 2nd hand@@Mrlostmoniker
great vids brother
Thank you
slow crap , cant even play diablo 2, to laggy fps ... tzzz never again buy a old nintendo console , btw, i use switch oled
I haven't had those issues, but I've also never played Diablo on it
