    It's worth it, it's cheap + it can be modified and you have so many games to play before the nintendo switch 2 comes out

    • @Mrlostmoniker
      @Mrlostmoniker  7 месяцев назад

      I've never modded it, but that's a good consideration

    • @muveeer
      @muveeer 7 месяцев назад +1

      In addition, on the modified switch you can install a psp emulator and your library expands with many more games

      @muveeer that’s a great idea! I loved the PSP

    I’ve had my switch lite in grey since 2020. I love it, play it almost every day, more than my series x. It’s such fun and the library of digital games, especially indie are fantastic!

    I bought one just this past Friday I love it. Much easier to take on the go so I can play it during work breaks. I get I can do that with the other switch but the switch lite is just much more compact

    Personally, I reccomend purchasing a regular Nintendo Switch (really, I reccomend the OLED). However, if you are 100% certain that you will never once play on a television... then MAYBE the Lite is for you. As a dedicated handheld console, the redbox Switch and OLED are still better. If you found a used one for maybe $100 in good shape, at that point it would be worth it. I have witnessed Switch Lite regret from two friends. They didn't use them once they purchased them and eventually purchased OLEDs (which they do love and use). I have a redbox Switch. If I was buying another exclusively for handheld gaming, I would still absolutely buy the OLED.

    • @Mrlostmoniker
      @Mrlostmoniker  7 месяцев назад

      Yeah I guess it fully depends on money and if it fits your needs, but I could see people regretting it for sure

    I’m from the US, we can get it for $200 it’s not outdated or lame it’s just fine for 200 bucks.

    • @Mrlostmoniker
      @Mrlostmoniker  6 месяцев назад

      I think the price is still steep considering the tech that’s in it at this junction, but Nintendo has excellent games regardless that do make up for it to a point

    I'm bought Switch Lite in February last year, so already 1st anniversary. Played TOTK 150 hours, BOTW 115 hours, Hogwarts Legacy 70 hours, Fortnite 670 hours etc. Very fun ❤. Planning to buy a Switch OLED in coming months. Switch 2 next year right

    I have a regular and a lite.
    One thing that can be really annyoing imo with both is if you want to play text heavy games rpg's etc it can be tough reading for long as in game text can be tiny and an absolute chore to play quite a lot of games.
    If it's one or the other i'd go for a regular.
    The lite has the plus of it is a good deal more portable, if you want to take it out.
    I think it's still a good time to buy a Swith as it's library is amazing at this point, a lot of really good games can be had for fair money now, apart from the Ninty published titles, those just seem to hold a premium price.
    They're not the most interesting games anyway imo.
    If your happy to download,there are always good titles going in the eshop sale.
    😊

      The library is great, but the hardware is definitely showing its age, which makes the price tag less appealing to me

    I’m contemplating getting a switch lite at a neighboring town Walmart. I already have a PS five so I’m totally OK with the good old-fashioned optimum handheld. It would be nice if it was more like $175 or 150 but I don’t foresee the price coming down any and the new Nintendo switch 2 is probably gonna have a pretty fat price point. Ugh nice video. Thanks for the information and update.

      I don’t see the issue with buying used as long as you test it out before hand, my main reservation right now with the Switch Lite is that it’s very pricey for what I consider aging hardware
