Overall I agree Ron Paul would also and he can cite some very interesting facts as well as it is a simple fact that the core that Woodrow Wilson back on December 23 year 1913 without Congressional vote gave the power to print and control our currency and our debts basically to a private group of individuals in which they have been dubbed the IRS or Federal Reserve make it sound like it's legal but it's really not

Considering the irresponsible way congress seems to enjoy waisting our tax money on non-essentials & running up the US governments credit card, I can't disagree.

In California you may need to itemize because the standard deduction is so low even when you take the standard deduction on your federal return.

The standard deduction amounts for 2023 are incorrect. The ones she listed are for tax year 2024. Also, there is no medical expense tax credit. It is a deduction.

Do the US have a similar systen to us in the UK, where we have PAYE, where taxes are taken automatically from your paycheck every month? A lot of the char about taxes from a lot of US based people never talk about any systen like this. So I'm just curious

Yes we have monthly withholdings before it hits our bank account. We get a refund if the withholdings were too much and you can adjust it with your employer.

They take it out of your check before you get it. They also charge you sales tax you when you buy items. My property tax comes out as part of my mortgage payments but I imagine when the house is paid off I'd likely have to do it in person someplace or set up some kind of direct payment.

I feel like it was much less obvious she was reading from an autocue in the old episodes. I can’t stop watching her eyes moving left and right as she reads.

It’s just a scam! To avoid paying the $1600 they say I owe I needed to check that 2nd job box and I did just to see the amount I would have paid an extra $3300 so I would have been waiting for them to give me the $1700 back. Such a scam. Naw y’all can wait for payment

How do you determine what a dependent is ?
Our cats rely on us for food and water. We clean their litterbox. We provide them with shelter and occasionally take them to the veterinarian… so we provide them healthcare.
This sounds like a dependent to me… why won’t the IRS allow us to claim them ???
    /joking of course
