It was the elevator finally working in the final season of The Big Bang Theory for me. I always felt that the series could not end without it happening.
The best part was that Sheldon was having a meltdown and said I can't take anymore change and then Penny gets off the elevator with that grin, classic!
He’s so good in everything he’s in. I very very rarely watch any show from beginning to end, but he’s been in two of them. Well, two and an half. I didn’t watch every episode of Angel. I didn’t even have a TV for the middle part.
After multiple rewatches, How I Met Your Mother makes sense to me. It hurts every time you see Ted and Tracey at the Inn talking about how a mother shouldn’t miss her daughters wedding
The ending made sense definitely its just the course of life and it can happen in real life. They just fucked up the entire buildup and the rushed ending in Season 8 and 9
@@samuelwallace2782 I think the finale is great except for robin and ted getting together. Rewatched the show like a week ago and damn. The Mother's fate is foreshadowed all through the series and frankly, it was quite obvious from season one on that she had passed away. That viewers did not get the finale they expected or felt they deserved does not mean such an ending isn't great. It was awesome. Not every tale needs to have a happy ending or needs to end on a high note. Ted and Robin getting together made perfect sense. He loved her and she loved him. What more needs to be said?

@@wojciechkozerski963 that’s why it was so bad. It’s so clear that the writers wrote the divorce and the death (specially the divorce) not as a way to make the story complex but just because they wanted ted to end up with robin and needed to get Fido of everything the story did during the last few seasons. Tracy’s death could’ve been great but it was done in such a terrible way that practically tells the audience how she was just another girl and Teds true love was Robin who he didn’t had any chemistry and was plainly incompatible
There's an alternate ending that doesnt include Robin, but I actually liked it. I hate that after all that waiting, we find out she's dead.. but if she wasnt, the whole point of Ted telling his kids the story wouldnt have made sense. And it allows us to rewatch the show after finishing it and findinf out the truth. Once you know about Tracy, and rewatch it, you pick up on every single hint and emotion that you didn't quite understand during the first watch of it. Like Ted imagining running to her apartment to tell her they were going to meet and fall in love because he wanted those extra days. During the first watch, we think it's just really romantic, but during the second watch, it's heartbreaking. They've been hinting Tracy was dead the entire series, not just "killed her off so he can be with Robin". Everything was planned from the start.
That’s what you get, when the writer gives you his final book’s outline before shooting the final season; but you aren’t allowed to use that exact ending because it would ruin the book’s sales and cost the writer millions.

20:00 The Sesame Street/Snuffy reveal wasn't just a long-time-coming twist... the child psychologists that work with producers grew to learn that Big Bird not being believed was hard for children who may have been suffering from abuse and afraid adults wouldn't believe them.
Smithson Magazine said: "The show asked childhood development experts to help them and came up with a two-year "scheme." In the first year, Robinson explains, the cast members would learn that Big Bird could tell the difference between imaginary things and reality. Then some people would start to believe him about Snuffy, trusting Big Bird’s perception, building up to Snuffy’s reveal in its 17th season. Even that historic episode teases the audience with several missed connections, however, until Big Bird recruits Elmo to help by holding on to Snuffy’s snuffle (trunk). The show then drives home the point they wanted to make with cast member Bob McGrath telling Big Bird: "From now on, we’ll believe you whenever you tell us something." So it was two years coming but they dont talk about all the behind the scenes "scheming" here. I'm not claiming to be some crazy sesame street genius lol. I remember when my mom wanted me to stop watching Sesame Street when I was little because she didn’t want me to believe in imaginary friends 😂😂 I think a lot of parents agreed and that’s why they made Snuffalopagus real instead of Big Birds imaginary friend
It's a shame people can't apply that same logic to Religion. The world would be a better/more advanced place without people arguing/killing over who's imaginary friend is real.

Way too many questions left unanswered or answered weakly in that series (i.e. the numbers). For anyone who hasn’t seen it, I just recommend not watching after “Through the Looking Glass” in s3.
For the Sesame Street thing there’s a darker reason for the reveal that they did this specifically so kids could say that they were being molested without being fear that they were making it up
Not a TV show, but they way Doomsday was teased in the "Death of Superman" comic book arc was awesome: at the end of a handful of issues in the lead up, there was a single page of Doomsday punching his way out of his prison, gradually making bigger dents until he was free. Unfortunately, I guess this is dated. I thought it would be number 1. Who shot JR was about as all consuming as a cliff hanger for a TV show gets. I have never seen an episode of Dallas, but I remember the "Who shot JR" hysteria.
Heroes/Heroes Reborn: On the very last episode of Heroes, the last one before it was canceled, Claire climbs to the top of a platform and jumps off and hits the ground in front of the news crew, revealing that people with super powers exist to the world, so no one could come after people like her or others like them again. Never, ever thought they'd continue the series to show how it changed the world after that episode, but they did in Heroes Reborn, which unfortunately also was canceled after one season, but still was great to see how Claire's jump effected society after the ending of the show Heroes.
Phoebe's premonition of the future with her daughter coming true in Charm, Ending of Supernatural, and Bones and Booth finally becoming a couple in Bones.
Ugh how do you not show the part of that scene where Jim interrupts Pam's talking head and she keeps talking after but with the most ADORABLE smile ever.
Yeah the showrunners worried that the adults on the show not believing Big Bird that Snuffy was real, would make kids think that adults in their lives would not believe them if they tried to tell them something important. That it might discourage them from telling an adult if something happened, out of fear of being dismissed like Big Bird was.
#8 "Kept viewers hooked" with no payoff #1 A finale that showed the mother was inconsequential and that he just wanted his kids to know he loved Robin anyway.
Me: nothing can shock me Also me: jumps up and down when Sheldon shows off the engagement ring he bought for Amy, when Mickey comes out for Ian and when Gilbert and Anne make it after so much misunderstandings. who A is (pretty little liars), the 100 living in peace (the 100), emily getting revenge (revenge), finding out what Mary Alice was hiding (desperate housewife) finding out Stiles real name (teen wolf)
I dream of Jeanie: when they got married
Gilligan's Island: When they left the island.
I feel like "Who shot Jr?" from Dallas should be on this list.
Unfortunately, I guess this is dated. I thought it would be number 1. Who shot JR was about as all consuming as a cliff hanger for a TV show gets. I have never seen an episode of Dallas, but I remember the "Who shot JR" hysteria.
But that wait wasn’t years, was it? I thought it was just one season to the next, but I don’t remember now.
@@johnn4637 they put Sesame Street and The fugitive... 🤨
What about A's identity in PLL? I feel like that would fit here.
Mulder finding out what happened to his sister on the Xfiles was for me way more significant.
Hank's realisation was all worth it out of all of these
Who Red John was.
The Doctor and Rose reunite
Phoebe's premonition of the future with her daughter coming true in Charm, Ending of Supernatural, and Bones and Booth finally becoming a couple in Bones.
Was hoping to see Jake and Amy in the list, was not disappointed
Dexter's downfall? How about when Deb found out Dexter was a killer?
Ugh how do you not show the part of that scene where Jim interrupts Pam's talking head and she keeps talking after but with the most ADORABLE smile ever.
hank's face when he realises walt is heisenberg still gives me chills
Mine is the final episode of 'The Wonder Years', where Kevin and Winnie would marry but was got very disappointed at the outcome.
What about Bones? When Brennan amd Booth finally get together after Vincent's death?
The one I expected the most was Bruce becoming Batman on Gotham and Tsugami Shouichi returns as Agito in another Kamen Rider Series
Fran and Mr Sheffield getting together in The Nanny. It was inevitable, and from memory the show fell away after that.
I can't believe we waited 8 years to find out who the mother was... then in one swift move they kill her off..
They finally introduced Snuffy because Psychologists wanted children to be believed when they said they were being sexually abused.
Yeah the showrunners worried that the adults on the show not believing Big Bird that Snuffy was real, would make kids think that adults in their lives would not believe them if they tried to tell them something important. That it might discourage them from telling an adult if something happened, out of fear of being dismissed like Big Bird was.
Dexter is comin backkk guyss...the best news I've heard all year
Arnold and Helga finally together in the Jungle Movie. Idc if it's a cartoon
#8 "Kept viewers hooked" with no payoff
#1 A finale that showed the mother was inconsequential and that he just wanted his kids to know he loved Robin anyway.
I think the pretty little liars is missing here. We waited soooo long for the whole conclusion.
Me: nothing can shock me
Also me: jumps up and down when Sheldon shows off the engagement ring he bought for Amy, when Mickey comes out for Ian and when Gilbert and Anne make it after so much misunderstandings.
Having said that:
why’s Delena nowhere to be seen on this list? I’m also missing the will they won’t they of Stefan and Caroline. Come on guys! That was nerve wracking
20 was a very very excellent slice of American life. This series was friggin perfect. 💝💝💝💖💖💖💝💝💝💝💝💝
When we finally find out that the real name of Mr. Big in Sex and the city is John.
So cute Niles loved Daphne at first sight.
We already kind of knew Jon Snow's parentage. The show just confirmed it.
What happened to Dale Cooper in the black lodge? That was a 25 year wait ahaha
Yeah, it’s actually insulting that it isn’t even mentioned!
@@remusturner9993 if that’s not long enough I don’t know what is pal ahaha
#3 should've been Walt finally has enough money to support his family
