    thanks great video but would it be. a bigger help of noise reduction if you had a Mesh pad

    • @caillouwang

      I think this product is not meant for the mash pad. Maybe you should buy one and share your thoughts with the community❤️❤️

    Cheers for doing this! I take it there's no kick tower movement, and you still screw the two screws in to this board (for the kick tower?)

      No. Just velcro attached.

    Thanks! I'm looking to get an electric drum kit but my apartment has poor sound isolation and I'm worried about kick drum noise. My downstairs neighbours are noisy themselves but I still don't want them hearing me playing drums.

    The NE-10 is expensive but it is the NE-1 that prices people out. Over $40 for one? I'm thinking washing machine pads might offer the same performance.

    • @caillouwang
      @caillouwang  Год назад +1

      It's a workaround. I think this product is for somebody who doesn't want to DIY and is willing to pay some premium to solve the problem. 😃😃

    • @LongNguyen-xv2xu
      @LongNguyen-xv2xu 6 месяцев назад +1

      I was thinking the exact same thing. If you have tried with those round rubber washing machine shock absorber pads, any results? Do they actually work?

    • @pdxmetal
      @pdxmetal 6 месяцев назад +1

      @@LongNguyen-xv2xu I have the NE-1's. The biggest issue is they are too small for standard hi hat stand feet. The feet also slide as you play and it tips the NE-1's over. Constantly. They are complete garbage for the price.

      @LongNguyen-xv2xu 6 месяцев назад +1

      @@pdxmetal so I would suppose a bunch of washing machine rubber pads will serve the purpose just right? I don’t wanna spend over 30 bucks for one rubber pad

    This is very helpful! But I think it could have been better if you had been sitting on a throne and had been hitting the pad with full force, instead of just tapping like this :)
