  • How To Properly Clean NASTY DIRTY Cloth Upholstery so they will look new again and it will last a lifetime..all for just a few minutes a year! We had to go over this SEAT 5 TIMES to get the original light blue color back! 21 YEARS OF NEVER CLEANED AND NEGLECTED CLOTH.The Vehicle we perform this on was a 1998 Mercury, it looked to have never had the seats cleaned in its lifetime, as you can see the seat before and after condition. So keeping up with your vehicle looking sweet is not very difficult.

    Oh wow, how dirty. I saw a pickup one time that the cloth seats were so dirty and greasy the cloth was all a shiny dark brown, on light tan seats. A local detail shop took it on. Worked on the seats a full day themselves. They used a degreaser mixed with some kind of interior cleaner with an extractor. They got almost all of it out of the seats. I was surprised how good it looked afterwards! Great videos, and you must remind people the importance of using hot water in this mixture. Looking forward to the next video!

    I followed this technique to a T and my upholstery on my 2013 Chevy Malibu is better than it was new! I had the car detailed paid $150 and asked the person to give special attention to my interior seats as they had bad stains although they look good when he was done they returned. Its been two weeks since I followed this procedure and they still look brand new. Thank you for your videos. Subscribed.

At the very least it will look nicer lol

    Do I have to buy 99% rubbing alcohol, or can I just buy the normal 70% rubbing and adjust the amount of 70% alcohol added so the same amount of alcohol is added to the mixture?
    Love your channel! This spot treatment looks awesome, though might be overkill for dirt and chocolate.

There is Dried Candy stuck to the back seats (creases and all), the inside cup holders are disgusting as well as the the different compartments. Will this method pull up dried sticky candy without damage? I'm trying Not to be ripped-off by a detailing place- I'm a single mother and doing this solo! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    I have heard that regular silicone spray is the same as 3m scotchguard. Is that true?

    • @SweetProjectCars
      @SweetProjectCars  6 лет назад +3

      Scotchgard has since changed its formula which you may now compare to the below mentioned Silicone /water based products that may discolor fabrics and actually attract soil to the fabric surface. Stain Free contains no PFOS and unlike the Scotch Guard products, protect against oil based stains as well as water-based. I dont know about using straight silicone but I guess you could try it on something not as important

    • @thefireman285
      @thefireman285 6 лет назад +1

      I am confused now. So you recommend 2m scotchguard are a separate product called stain free?

    PLEASE HELP ME. My dog peed all over my seats and floor after she chewed her way out of a fabric kennel when I was studying for my class. Can you please tell me what to do? My car reeks!!! 2010 Tucson. The dealership tried to claim that it’d be unknown amounts of money to “recalibrate the airbag indicators” and it can be dangerous from airbag going off if I remove the passenger seat and back seat cushion only. I just called to ask them if they’d simply unbolt them for me so I could wash the seats with a hose. They tried to make up some exorbitant arbitrary about for “recalibration” (are they bullshitting me?) I want to ocd clean it deep down and kill the smell forever. I know about your carpet floor video but what do I pour onto my seats to reach down to the pee? None of the over the counter oxy cleaner products are lasting. Seriously help me. She ruined my SUV. Poor little thing. Needless to say I bought her a hard sided kennel.

      I would leave your seats in the car rent an extractor from the rental place or Walmart or wherever use this mixture spray it on heavy and use the extractor you may have to do it a couple of times then I’m going to send you an item to use after you have clean the seats run this item in the car per the directions you may have to do it a couple times but it will completely kill all smells forever
