The just need to invent an effective wring-out version of one of those shag style mop pads on a small rotating pad; (the ones that are usually light-green, long shag-pile composed of long velvety twines. They make bath matt's out of the same material). They use this material on a flexible stick or pad but it's not practical to use on hands and knees or continuously rinsing/drying by hand.
Yah, but the broom is ingenious in the way the bristles conform to ANY contour! This idea really needs to be utilised in future cleaning inventions.
