I respect richie perspective. I remember him being stern on scoot to see him give miller his props that's showing me more than some other Podcasters that I hear. I like scoot but charlotte needed and needs moving forward size and bm is him

Appreciate it! It’s not always about being right vs wrong but adjusting our opinion as we get more info.

Brian of course i'i's dangerous to take today's data and predict something one, five or ten years out. Many NBA player evaluators are gelling around the importance of "positional size" and the "ability to switch" on defense. These are two hurdles that Scoot can deal with but never fully over come. His size is his size. Age and team can and will change.

My hornets need to pick 2024 NBA draft : Caleb Love ! Another option for lamelo and the team overall to be more competitive ! 2025 NBA draft pick : bell out of Syracuse ! First round don't care at what pick for us !

Guys who didn't dig in and scout the draft picks are surprised how they perform in the NBA.

I can promise you that our co-hosts dig deep into draft scouting and college basketball more than any other Hornets podcast.

@BUZZBEATPOD I have no doubt, but that's not saying much. I don't know how people have podcasts for a team with a top 2 pick and don't actually watch multiple full games of the only 2 players under consideration. It's very easy to do this. They then make bold declaritive statements and content based off of youtube highlights, someone elses analysis and hype. They make content about how they are surprised at certain outcomes.
No one who actually followed BMill is surprised by any of this. It was all on tape.

People was rating Scoot as a generational talent. I never seen Scoot as a better talent than Fultz coming out his rookie year. To think some analysts had him over Westbrook in his prime lol.

It's funny how you guys planted the flag for Scoot before the season and now the season almost over they have the nerve to say it too early. Scoot had 2 more season in G league and you guys said Scoot was the most NBA ready.

I would ask Brian to free his tourtured soul. By simply saying "Scoot has been bad, so far" . The Portland team is different than Charlotte? Who are trying to kid, both are bad. Just qualify with "so far" and move on. Also you can say" I was wrong about Miller. He is much better than I thought he would be, so far." Your pride in ownership of player evals is just silly. It's a guess sometimes you miss. Let it go.

Terrible take trading melo just because you believe miller might be better is insane you keep both and develop them around the core you have if trade mark before melo
