I think the message the game's sending is that NOBODY escapes death, think of the Final Destination movies or at least the first one anyway, a bunch of people manage to escape from death's grasp all because of one single vision of the future, by denying death entry the entity now has to come up with another way of making sure that the ones whose time is up are cut from that ever-growing list of theirs, that's my interpretation of this game's endings that Nina's death was unavoidable, so she likely tried to get as many people as she could to try and "shield" her from death as the second death enters the facility if you allow him in, he goes for Nina as expected but Nina's body then causes the others she gathered around her to die along side her.
Death is targeting one person but if you let him in he’ll start a chain reaction but if you don’t hill target his well target. interesting theory. I was thinking that he was actually trying to take out everybody but since he couldn’t he decided to take out a very high value target.
@@thedbdentity2102 Death wouldn't want to cause unnecessary deaths, after all that would result in some extra paperwork that he would end up having to fill out which is likely what the phones also represent if you let Death in, not only representing the families being informed of the deaths but also Death now having to sort out the unnecessary deaths that came from the explosion to either Heaven or Hell.
@@cursedhawkins1305 You make a fair point but why would he be trying to get in unless he made a mistake in his calculations of how many deaths would happen
@@thedbdentity2102 As I first mentioned, if Death was allowed entry, he went for Nina, wither or not Nina's body hit a switch or during her final moments she flipped some lever, caused whatever experiment they were doing to cause that explosion which in turn engulfed the entire area around the damn building, effectively causing untold amounts of unnecessary deaths, souls that the reaper themselves would now have to sort. This is why I mentioned to recall the Final Destination movies or at least the first one, Death goes around picking off the people that escaped their grasp one by one unless more than one happens to be present like with the Tanning machines, Nina's death likely was the result of her having already escaped death once and as a result, the reaper came for what was rightfully his, her soul. However, in the movie we see one that got away from the reaper the first time try to kill themselves only for their attempt to be nullified, the reaper might not be able to do the same trick with something that acts like a reverse Blackhole compared to a gun.
I think the game referenced Chernobyl. I watched the series and the man in control basically kept ignoring the employees saying something was wrong and pressured them to continue doing the test.. when he realized something was wrong and knew what would happen, _he_ was the first one to try and escape without notifying anyone else essentially leaving them to die.. the explosion happens and many die… Nina is just like this man, she pressured them to continue the test and research, something goes wrong and inorder to save her own ass, she flees only to die in the end..
You mean HBO series? Then it'd be a reference to the series but not real accident, since the TV series on 80% consists of lie to make the story more dramatic.

@@justadude2559 just Security Booth. Directors cut will be out soon. And I make games under my game studio with my partner. Its called Cloud Colony Games, but no horror games currently coming from our studio only my solo stuff
it was an experiment with time in no other way, because how do you explain that the call in the 1st ending predicted the death of the guard, which means the experiment somehow influenced the warning system by accidentally throwing it into the future, which forced it to send the signal to the past, and the fact that Natasha died was a ghost from the future who was somehow stuck in a time paradox, and perhaps it was Natasha who left notes that also predicted the future. Or Natasha had already been transported to time before the events of the game and she was considered dead, and death was an angel who wanted to eliminate the time paradox. The error code may also have been sent by a warning system from the future.
I love your narrating it’s pretty chill, I love your videos, they introduce me to horror video games I’ve never heard of and some I have heard of, amazing
My theory is that the game is inspired heavily by the SCP universe and that you’re working as a guard at one of the foundation sites when a entity or someone working for an opposing agency causes a site breach which leads to the on-site nuclear warhead being detonated to prevent any other escaped entities to reach human populations.
I’m talking about the SCP universe and how it’s similar to this game. Best example I can give of this particular game is if SCP 058 & 079 both breached containment at the same time.
I'm guessing there have been some updates to the game. I just got done playing it and there are some differences now. Plus a few more endings, I took the phones ringing as calls to the other facilities, but nevertheless I enjoyed your explanation.
I don’t think death targeted the facility, they targeted Nina but they did not care if she took other people with her. It was Nina’s fault not death’s fault
