오늘의 영상도 "David foster" 의 라이브 공연에서 베이스를 연주하신 제 히어로 "Nathan east"의 그루브와 라인카피를 커버한 곡 입니다. 흑인들이 지니고 있는 그 특유의 흐느적 거리는 16비트의 그루브 감이 너무나도 멋진 곡인듯 합니다.
예전부터 레슨을 하면서 성인분들을 상대하다 보면 대부분, 베이스 라인과 솔로에 관심들을 많이 갖고 접근을 하시다가 얼마가지 않아 대부분 그만 두시는 상황들을 접하곤 합니다. 금방, 또는 쉽게 할 수 있을 거라는 생각을 하시더라구요...ㅎㅎ;;
베이스의 스케일만 배운다고 해서 모든것이 해결된다면 얼마나 좋겠습니까.. 하지만, 음악은 그렇게 쉽지가 않다는 것을 매번 느낀답니다.. 그래서 꾸준히 카피해보고 녹음을 해보면서 저의 한계를 느낍니다 ㅎㅎ
쉽지는 않겠지만 배우겠다는 겸손한 자세로 꾸준히 노력한다면 원하시는 레벨까지 갈 수 있지 않을까 하는 생각을 해봅니다. 오늘의 생각이었습니다 ㅎㅎ

When I deal with adults while taking lessons for a long time, most of them approach the bass line and solo with a lot of interest, but soon most of them quit. They thought that we could do it quickly or easily.
How great would it be if everything was solved just by learning the scale of the bass? However, I always feel that music is not that easy. So, as I constantly copy and record, I feel my limitations.
It won't be easy, but if you continue to work hard with a humble attitude to learn, I think you can reach the level you want. That was today's thought.
