Update: After a few software updates on both our Tesla M3 and PS2, I've altered some scheduled settings on both cars and it seems to be able to charge with scheduled charging on now. I had to separate the start times to make them a few hours apart and now the Lectron seems to be consistently giving both cars power. I still don't know how much I trust the reliability of this yet, but its been 3 days in a row where both cars have been charged up with scheduled charging activated on both vehicles.

This was very helpful. I have a 2023 Tesla and a 2021 Bolt. I'll try your solution first. If that doesn't work out, plan B is to spend about $200 to get a timer for the circuit (probably ATC D7 CH2) and shut off the scheduler on the cards. . I suspect that this issue is where the some of the 1-star reviews are coming from. I thought plan B might be a good alternative.

Lots of user reviews (15%) are one star! Reports of failed units, units getting hot or tripping CBs. Have you tried this for long?

Hm well I just quickly looked at the listing and the average is 3.8/5 stars which is somewhat normal for Amazon product ratings. We've had our unit for longer than everyone else as our review unit arrived prior to consumer release. Ironically after releasing this video we haven't had any of the issues I stated in the video since. Nothing has changed other than internal OTA updates in my vehicles that have nothing to do with Lectron. I surmise there are factors that come into play that are unique to every buyer like how their electrical wiring is etc.

Oh.. I need to use super off peak time from 12 to 6 am to save electronic fee. Are you sure it can't support charging schedule on Tesla? I have Honda Clarity Plugin Hybrid and have plan to buy Tesla Y. Thanks for Good information.

If the first vehicle is set to 80% charge it finishes and transitions to second charge. If after 2 hour vehicle one trickles down to 79% does it revert back to vehicle 1? Wouldn't this happen throughout the night?

not really sure why you would ever use this. You're better off just wiring two 240v plugs into that circut and charging each car at half the amperage. Or continue using the outlet for the secondary car and then plug in to the 240v circut once in a blue moon when the 120v isn't enough. Or you could split that 240v plug into two high amperage 120v plugs. There are literally dozens of better options than this.

6:00 oh my god this is horible there are so many better products out on the market, there is no need to constantly open and close the contactors like this, please just use two outlets or get two wall connectors and have them powershare the one circut, just don't buy this thing
