For beginners this is frustrating that everything turned out beautiful but you don't say anything you used. And if it was in the notes you should mention that 😢
What kind of UV gel did you use? And did you prep the acrylic brush before use and clean in between use? If so how? I happened to have a box of rose petals from roses my boyfriend had gave me before he passed. They’re fading but I’ve been trying to find something that will make them last longer so that our daughter will be able to keep them one day.
To stop the petals from fading, place them in silica sand or gel until all the moisture has left them. I don't use any specific brand of uv resin, they all seem to work pretty much the same. I don't clean the brush between resin coats, just keep it out of the light so it doesn't go hard. You can clean and dry the brush before use if you think it may have dust or anything else that would affect the resin.
I have not tried that so I am not sure - sorry. Even if a flower or petal looks dry, it may still contain moisture and can turn brown inside the resin over time. Pressing a flower or petal with blotting paper or tissue inside a book will usually also work to remove the moisture,

You can also dry petals by pressing them - use a flower press or thick book - place petals between blotting paper or absorbent paper. Make sure the petal is completely dried out. It will be flat, but that is also a nice effect.
You may be able to use a sharp needle - it depends on how thickly and how many layers of resin you have applied. Just be gentle as they are still a bit fragile.
Lovely

How long are you drying your flower petals in the silica? And what are you using to coat them with?
Really I love thanks!!
Thank you so much 😀
what is the stuff that the petals are placed on top of? it's not listed.
Thank you.
silica gel
How u keep the same colour. ?
How many days do you let flowers dry in the box?
Gorgeous. -I was wondering how do you ensure you're safe from fumes?
Always wear a respiratory mask, gloves, and/or do this outside.
Instead of silica sand could i use rice to remove the moisture? Thanks.

what did you put the petals in??
It's called Silica Gel! :)
What can we use if we don't have silica gel?

I want it
#Well done... Really lovely. Worth watching 😊👍
What is that salt that you poured on the petals and where can I get it?

Ca sert a quoi le sable?
Are these fragile? or do they become hard?
Yes they will go pretty hard but they're not indestructible. Add more layers of resin if you want then to be harder.
How do I put a hole without a drill? Because I don't have one..

Thank you so much ✨
Sorry....not a great video as there are no instructions whatsoever....
