This thing is incredible. All of the people saying it isn’t doesn’t know how to use it. You have to make your own sounds. Some are the presets are good too. A lot of hating bullshit.
@@milankotevski1663 I guess it depends on the player. I’ve had great success with mine. I could make a hello kitty guitar sound great. I appreciate your opinion.
Hey everyone. I was very fascinated when I heard the music intro from 0:00 til 0:04. If anyone is very familiar with this processor, can you please tell me how to get this sound ? much appreciated.
GT-10 ... Great for Modulations, Delays, stereo connections and others. G10 Direct Line Use: Only simulations clean amps are acceptable for professional use. Distortions with ampl simulators are not good for use in direct line. Just as Boss analog pedals, the distortions are only good at real ampls. The best way to use the GT10's is OFF in all amp simulators and plug it into a good real amp.
Everything Boss makes, the overdrive sound like wasps stuck in a Web, the new Katana is no better, AVOID the lot, get a Marshall they blow this shit away
@@AceHermes I would like to answer you honestly, I started a few years ago in the world of professional music playing in different bands, and I used the gt 10, I needed a pedalboard that gave me many different sounds, and my experience was very bad, the distortions were very awful, it released very annoying frequencies, a terrible nasal sound, the response impulse was very bad, the worst I ever heard possibly, and the sound technicians I worked with were not able to mix the sound of my guitar well with the rest of instruments and they had to bury the guitar in the mix, the clean ones sound very fake, without dynamics and without body. The effects sound very bad too, the chorus sounds terrible and super false, and the reverb too, the sound in general is lousy, I downloaded many patches that I found on the internet and none of them work
ALL I WANT TO KNOW IS HOW TO CHANGE WHAT IS "FX2" IN A PATCH. CAN'T FIND THAT ANYHERE. I know you know how to play guitar. That's about all I learned in this video.
Bruzz Boe I agree with you completely but non the less it is a powerfull unit. you can get decent tones utilizing the EQ and experimenting with the cabinet models. The clean tones are great but the distortion tones is just alright, crunch tones are doable with a overdrive and preamp models but Hi-gain tones just doesn't have the mojo, the 5150 & T-amp is usable but the soprano and Rectifier models are just full of hi-frequency hiss ...it doesn't have the necessary harmonic overtones to have any degree of credibility. The Gt-100 models are a bit better with more headroom... ...Axe FX is the benchmark for amp modelling but Helix and Mooer is doing gr8 too. I was pleasantly surprised to hear the Mooer GE200. Boss needs to up their amp modelling game. Do anyone have any idea as to the DSP chip speed in the GT-1 units?
Khondker Rifat Hossain Boss GT-10 is not good, but fucking cheap (in all meanings) Mooer from chinese pussy-eyed is " I was pleasantly surprised to hear". Bruzz is great too, with curved arms and and crooked ears Hahahahaha, you both made my day
@@skyscraper8572 Have you seen Nuno Bettencourt use a Boss GT-8 with his signature amp heads...all his delay, reverb and Boost is from GT-8. Even Opeth used to use GT-8 and then GT-10 live with a Laney amp effects return...using amp as a power amp, they used GT preamps. Undoubtedly Boss GT-10 and Pod HD series does a average job at amp modelling but if you know how to tweak, you can get usable tones out of these unit. GT-10 is a bit scooped with to much high. An Ideal situation is Bass 44, Mid 62, treble 48, Gain as little as is needed, for compression and details in breakup. Change cab models...you must know what tone you want and how best to get it. You can even get tight rythm tones...which apparently is the toughest. The new generation modelers like helix, kemper and AX8 sounds gr8 right out of the box with a amp and IR...but the older generation modelers needs a lot of adjustment. They do have 24Bit 44.1Khz....so the outcome should be decent.

This thing sounds like my Zoom 505. Sorry, but it sounds horrible compared to modern gear, and amp sims.

Hello. Great material I have a question how did you get that sound at 7:37 minutes ? ;)
Tons of comp
FX1 Harmonizer +1 octave
FX2 Octaver +2 octave
Tons of Chorus
Tons of Delay

Hello, can we d path of a GT-10 in a GT-PRO ? Thanks Didier
Does anyone have any idea about the DSP chip speed for THE Gt-8, GT-10 and Gt-100 models?
Khondker Rifat Hossain very good question I’m guessing thats a trade secret.
What amp are you using?
Does this have Tube Screamer?
The screamer sound is like a fly farting

I LOVE THE WAH WAH 😂
Sounds like the music from neds declassified
the amp models are poor, but using the unit as a effect board only (i use 2 cable method) is outstanding
you must have bad ears or a different model. The amps are fine if you set them up properly
