I didnt see any issue with the length. I learned a ton from the information you put in this video. I even found myself watching videos on real world setup. And that just made me want this thing even more. Cant wait till Aug 1st. Great video.
Thank you, I'm really glad you found the video useful! And yes, once you start going down the crane rabbit hole on RUclips, it's impossible to go back :D
you deserve another comment for the meta crane meme...if only there were a baby crane for the smaller one...and then yes perhaps the technic "one crane to lift them all" crane
Hahaha "one crane to lift them all" is priceless 😄 Damn it, I wish I had my Mobile Crane set 6361 here with me. I would definitely try that, even if I don't have the big Technic crane. Viewers demand craneception!
In fact there is "baby crane" in City theme, set 60026 (and one bigger 7633 and one more, big, set 7249). P.S. @Niltz'sBoxofBricks, don't be mad, didn't watch whole video, it's tooo long. Make them shorter, up to 15 min
Yikes, those 3 cranes are far from baby-sized, not sure they're good candidates for the "Craneception"! :D They're quite substantial in size, the smallest one is probably the one you mentioned in the Town Square set. Hahah not mad at all! I know my videos are long, I'm not very articulated and that ends up being clear in my videos. I'm trying to improve my communication skills, though (which was also one of the reasons to create this channel :) )
@@NiltzsBoxofBricks Man, you sound great, really! Never would say you have any problems with communication skills. I subbed. Waiting for your new (shorter) reviews 😃
In the usa i hope this is not as hard to find as the excavator because that still is no where to be found outside of a backorder from lego only it seems no retail has it and its been nearly 2 months since its release
I really enjoyed the build. They managed to incorporate much of the real world crane into this and maintained the look as well. If only the designers of the so called LR13000 had done the same. That set was so bad that I decided to build my own. 12,000+ parts, 12 feet tall(currently awaiting parts), 18 motors later and I'm content.
I’ve just saw this set and have just ordered it, there will hopefully be someone clever who will be able to make upgrades to the crane but as you say it would look very authentic with the Y-guying system and either a lattice extension, fly or luffing jib and wish Lego would make them but it would be a little tricky for children to reeve the pulleys for a luffing jib.
Well, I'm not sure I'm clever enough but I already started working on the Y-guy system :D Not an easy task when I don't have a lot of experience with Technic parts. The cabling won't be easy, but it's possible. Only when I have the Y-guying figured out will I think about the lattice extension, but so far it seems that the set as is has enough connection points to expand it. Finger crossed! And enjoy the set! I'm sure you'll love it.
I’ll do the Y-guying system might be easy depending on how the arm connects to the main boom as well as one of the little hydraulic pieces used in the outriggers, I’ve already started buying pieces for my luffing jib and hope the boom can take it and no wobbling of the turntable, just hope there’s enough space to put a luffing reel box between the weights 4x8 would do.
Amazing! About the turntable, when I lifted the smaller crane I felt like it wanted to pop up, but nope, That won't happen. The fact that it doesn't use a traditional turntable is a great move by the designers. I also started adding a few parts in a Bricklink wishlist, but I won't be ordering until I have everything I need (still desiging digitally in Studio). Good luck figuring out the best way to make those upgrades!
The lego city crane is very nice, although there have been a few cranes, but there are still not as many of them as the number of police stations and lego city police 😅 Great, really
I like your video, but it's too long. If the video is less than 30 minutes long, people will watch it more (Am I the only one who is afraid of the long time?), and if you can do thumbnails, try to make them more visually recognizable! Most viewers do not look at the title, but look at the thumbnail, but if there is too much information, it will not look messy and pretty, so they will not come in easily! That was the advice of a passing viewer.
Thanks for the suggestions, I really appreciate your feedback! I have some my difficulty to clearly express myself in english. And of course, that is reflected on the lengths of the videos as I tend to pause and think a lot. But then again, I'm comfortable to take things at my own pace. Maybe some days I'll have less time to record and the videos will be shorter. But I have always so much to say that if I keep videos short, my view of the sets won't be expressed as well as I want. But I agree that many established reviewers are trying to keep the videos below 10 minutes, especially with a bigger focus from RUclips on short videos. In part due to TikTok, the audiences are shifting to shorter content, and that's fine. It's just that personally I like to take my time and give my thoughts (and the content) space to breath :) And about the thumbnail, I've been keeping the formula simple but I just noticed that In RUclips Studio there's now a tool to see the performance of thumbnails. So who knows, I might start experimenting! Again, thank you :)

Crane lifting crane, thats cool. Even better would be that technic crane lifting them 😂
Hahaha the question is, would the Technic crane make it? 😄
I am really surprised they could not do some wheel steer on that. There should be a simple solution with technic bricks.
If you say add a cement truck, would be cool to also have a concrete pumper with articulated boom with the series.
Oh I like your way of thinking :D
I'm all for it, too!
Your understanding of the real crane is very accurate, you should do a MOC of a LTM 1750 or LTM 1500
Definitely a lot bigger than I thought it was going to be - Nice looking crane
It is a beaut. Lego really pushing its City sets onto a path that I'm curious to see where it'll lead.
In the U.S. the standard taped box is what i recieved. I prefer that easy to break down snd store

Lookup the m1longer mods, he did steering, a luffing jib and superlift.

I ordered from a different country as Lego still isn't selling in the US
