#vestibularmigraines
Just had a really nauseating and dispiriting trip to the local supermarket so I needed to hear this. I'm trying to stay active but the lack of progress is so frustrating.
Thank you for the motivation. Having a bad day today, which is okay, I'm having a little rest! but will try again tomorrow! :)
Is it OK to not do anything on some days. I do exposure therapy and get out most days.. It's a push but I'm afraid I'll be a shut in..
Yep of course you need to balance it out as I mentioned x
True up until a certain point. I lose consciousness and go into convulsions if I push myself too hard which only causes more panic about being in public. I still go out, just not around others because they also panic and call an ambulance.
Yep, it all depends on your health condition of course, but for the majority with vestibular disorders - not convulsions - you need to keep moving.
Thank you for this video. Everything you said is so true even though I’ve been trying to avoid that truth haha. I seem to remember you mentioning Flunarizine in an older video, and I was wondering if it helped you and how long you took it if you did? I’m scared of medications but my doctor recommended Flunarizine to me and if it would take away the dizziness I would take it. Any thoughts on your experience with that would be so appreciated. Thank you :))
Hi hun flunarizine gave me low moods so I came off it, I just stayed active and over the months and years it got better by itself
@@vestibularmigrainesupport I see, that side effect is one of the things stopping me from trying it out. But its really reassuring to hear that you were able to get better without medication! Thank you for the reply and the hope
