Full length of sole…your foot sits on top of it…they are comfortable…not boost level comfort but very close…it’s more of an old school runner/walker feel…hope that helps.

I love them but they are too similar to the fear of god vintage runners. Love the wave. Still might get them.. the vintage runner is my favorite
