    • @TinWhistler
      @TinWhistler  4 года назад +6

      A plastic Dixon in C, if I remember right. Reverb, yes. Thanks!

    • @TinWhistler
      @TinWhistler  3 года назад

      An old Chieftain that's not manufactured anymore (low D), and the high whistles were probably Dixons. Thank you!

    Its suppose to be celtic music, but now it sounds like a cinematic music for some movie lol, jus saying what I feel about this, I still love it though!!

    • @TinWhistler
      @TinWhistler  8 лет назад +8

      Well, that's because it's arranged by Ignacio, but I think it's good to do something different from time to time. :)

    • @TinWhistler

      Most probably, what I did is:
      1) Cut using your bottom-hand index finger.
      2) Immediately after, cut using your bottom-hand middle finger.
      When I say "immediately after", I mean it!
      Thanks!

    Nice rendition. What key is the tin whistle in?

    • @cedardobson4082
      @cedardobson4082 8 лет назад

      C, actually.

    • @cedardobson4082
      @cedardobson4082 8 лет назад +1

      At first it is a C, then it changes key. PJ switched to a D.

    • @TinWhistler
      @TinWhistler  8 лет назад +4

      Correct, first I used a C whistle (plastic whistle by Dixon) and then I switched to a D whistle (Dixon Trad). The low whistle is a D low whistle throughout the whole tune, so first I played the tune in D, which made me half-cover the E hole in order to get an F natural. Thanks for watching!

    • @cedardobson4082
      @cedardobson4082 8 лет назад

      I have a D Trad Dixon, too! Half-holing is hard, especially when you play fast. This is a great arrangement! Very well done!!!

    Cool rendition just music version of the song. Be hard to place a voice over this version though, as the highs would drown out any singer due to the words emphasis with the songs tone.

    Beautifull, but much too much going on in the backing. The song is too simple to need that much.
    Less is more. But as I said... Beautiful.
