Gaining weight is actually better because it somehow makes you look young when your age is around 40. That's just what i noticed for most people, though there are also those who can maintain it even if they are thin. I think Lana's weight is okay. She's oozing of happiness this past few years. I like her happy. She made legendary songs, it's time she relax herself and find solace in doing what she loves.
I disagree. At 40+, extra weight absolutely ages a person, gives them that "middle age" paunch that makes them look very different than they did when they were younger. The key is the maintain your weight throughout your life, those are the people on whom age shows the least.

I’ve been listening to her since she was just on RUclips. She came a long way. Her live performance was just not there and I’m just going to say that being a musician but she TOTALY worked on herself and her music has the most American soul compared to any artist out there. She mixes the 50’s and the 60’s with today with her notes and her looks so she is truly unique and I LOVE HER MUSIC and seems like her personality is not any less. Good job Lana
