I can go in game, open this document, take a screenshot, and just zoom in to get the same effect. I genuinely cannot grasp what you are seeing. I sense you’ve never played Outlast before, because that is just how the documents look. There is nothing else going on there except a slight zoom in to make the document fit the video aspect ratio.

Having just finished playing outlast 1 and 2 this gave way more context to the lore and story of both games since outlast 2 was just all over the place a times and lacked so much context so thank you for the doing the hard work and making so easy to understand

I've always been curious about the story behind Outlast since every Let's Play I watched about it never really shed much light toward what was happening outside of some nefarious mind influencing scheme. This was a really great video explaining everything, it clears up a lot of the big questions I had about the events that influenced what happened in game. It's too bad it doesn't answer my biggest question though :/ why did they bother to give and light his cigarette if they strapped him to a table 4:25

Absolute masterpiece. The way you weaved all of this together into one coherent story is gorgeous storytelling. I never knew about the story of the Pauls, so I found that particularly interesting.
