Great stuff. Going to purchase. If you are more into blues than jazz, could you imply the ii V licks when going lets say from the I to the IV chord?
Yes that's a great point. They would work on the I chord just prior to moving to the IV.
Awesome, will look into the pack!! Meantime, at 1.40 you appear to play a B major arpeggio over an Em7 which I can’t get my head around the harmony ! Sounds great, but what’s the thinking on that?
Great observation. Charlie Parker did this quite often. Using a B triad over the Em produces an Em(maj9) sound instantly.
