That last breakdown is so masterfully done that legit I'm pretty sure it gives adrenaline to anyone who listens to it and makes you either laugh or cry, that breakdown needs to be studied scientifically
I have never physically winced at the sound of a breakdown, at least since I started listening to metal. That was some of the heaviest shit I've heard in my life. That snare sounds like a sledgehammer slamming into my eardrums and I love it. Those vocals are truly fucking haunting though lmao
If you like this, you should also check out their last album Immortal, it’s a similar symphonic deathcore style. You might also like Shadow of Intent’s last two albums and Make Them Suffer’s album Neverbloom. Those are two more bands that nail that more melodic/orchestral vibe
The chill section is there so you can compose yourself, recover, and prepare for what is about to come. Still wasn't enough of course, I feel like my mind is melting every time I hear it.
I'm not even sure this can be called deathcore anymore. There's one death metal-ish riff, and the breakdowns, but every other riff is very melodic black metal. The first thing that popped into my head when I heard the acoustic intro then the slow melodic intro was "Someone's been listening to Watain". Blackcore?
All I can say is, I have never been so BLOWN AWAY by a deathcore song that I went searching for reaction videos to make sure that everyone else’s mind was blown as bad as mine
That last breakdown physically and mentally made me feel like when I would get in bad atv accidents and slam face first into the mud. I could literally envision my face going under water and my vision going brown as my whole body felt like it was being dragged downward. The band definitely struck some primal unique chord among many people with that last breakdown. They had to be in some intense/altered headspace to write and play it.
Glad to hear I wasn’t the only one that wasn’t the biggest fan of this despite recognising the appeal. When does a track become too heavy? That’s the question I always ask myself because I somehow love the new Darko US album...yet this just doesn’t sound right to me?😂 cool that we seem to have shared the same thoughts man. I most certainly won’t be listening to this again, yet I can appreciate the art involved...
I feel like this tracks sole purpose is just to show off the new vocalist, sick song, questionable mix tho. Hopefully it'll sound better of Spotify rather than RUclips
nah i love the blackened mix, it fits the theme of the band better tbh. people said the same thing about immortal, and they havent seemed to change their mixes yet, so im pretty sure they’re just rolling with high drums and synths and lower everything else.
I'm pretty sure he has, might've even reacted to Death Portrait. I agree with you, I think Immortal is probably the swan song for this band, as good as Will does here.
@@icanmakeeverythingilovedie9861 Oh absolutely, my fav deathcore album of all time, but I have not seen him react to Death Portrait, pretty sure it hasn't happened. Might have been like with Nik Noc where he chose not to post reactions due to the controversy at the time
The squealing in the end is not the first time it is used in music, check out Infant Annihilator, To The Grave.. some bands used it as well but as far as I know Dickie Allen (Infant Annihilator) was one of the first if not the first one to do it. It's fair that you wont listen to it again, I am still looping it...
Cj put out a video addressing & disproving the allegations levied against him & has teased starting up a new project. Here's to hoping he makes a comeback & we get another stellar band out of this.
New to the channel so I don't know if you have listened to Corpus Christi by dust to diamonds but there is an insane breakdown at the end I think you'd like. Even if you don't post it the song is definitely worth a listen.
I started to listen to Lorna Shore with a track where Will was making a mock reaction to him singing a song pretending to be a vocal couch. My husband was like "I want to show you this stupid band and stupid video", and I watch it and I wait where the stupid part will start, and I cannot find it. Started to listen, got obsessed, searched for similar vocals, found Shadow of Intent, got obsessed. It's been a month and I am just listening to deathcore which I thought isn't my genre. Guess who is listening with me? My husband. Yeah, I will show you this stupid band. I think this is genius song. I cannot stop with it. Sad you don't really like it. Most people who react to it liked it more.
Great track and vocals insane and drumming, but is it just my headphones or what, where are the cymbals? can´t hear them clearly, they should have been higher in the mix.
I'm with you on deathcore as a whole. It all seems like they're trying to push it to the extreme at all times. When a song is constantly slamming you because of how heavy it is, then the parts that are supposed to really hit you lose their impact. At least for me. The breakdown at the end was one of the most disgusting things I've heard in quite some time, but the rest of the song doesn't allow it to stand out as much as it should. That's just for my tastes though, probably because I'm a big ol' pussy.
Song should come with a side effect label may induce involuntary headbanging, bleeding from the ears (in a good way), extended erection, the urge to smash everything around you and may contain one of the most epic breakdowns EVER...🔥🖤🤘
"At what point is it too heavy?"
He has no idea 😂
In about 3 minutes or so lmao
None, not 1 idea
Watched pretty much every reaction to this song so far and i still cant get over that breakdown 💪🔥
I doubt I’ll ever be prepared for it.🤣
Same dude 🤣 the reaction never gets old
Jesus Christ that Dickie Allen-ish newborn child like growls diocan is ridiculous (diocane is an italian scientific term we use in some situations)
Same here man😂
Didnt expect this comment to kinda pop off lmao
That last breakdown is so masterfully done that legit I'm pretty sure it gives adrenaline to anyone who listens to it and makes you either laugh or cry, that breakdown needs to be studied scientifically
Facts!
Lol! Music Theory is a science, and someone who studied it wrote this song.
please, are you new?
aRe YoU NeW
I laugh everytime I hear it
Will fucking killed it in this track, absolutely dirty.
I literally laugh out loud everytime I hear that break down at the end
Because our brain cannot process that awesomeness

sorry i am new to this... what is breakdown?
@@chiteshacharya the chuggy chug part of the song
@Alex Mcgill 😂 nice

Absolutely crushing this is such a good entrance for Will

The heaviness of this song makes other deathcore bands like Thy Art is Murder sound soft lmao
thy art have been soft for ages, other bands have long since one upped them
@@atomictoaster8013 true, they still good tho
Will's high at the end is an amazing punctuation to such a great track.
I genuinely felt like I’d swam in a sewer after that breakdown. So dirty and brutal. I cannot wait for this EP! 🤘

"At what point is it too heavy?"
*Laughs in hellfire*
Boomers: "Black Sabbath is demonic music."
Lorna Shore: "Hold my virgin sacrifice."
This song isn’t satanic , will ramos (the vocalist in this song) says he isn’t religious at all , meaning they don’t worship satan.

They are a mix between Angelmaker and Infant Annihilator, that's so epic!
this is the most disgusting breakdown ive ever heard in my entire life. like. how.
started at Niks reaction and now im here. 4 reaction later. cause this song is insane. loved it.

It sounds slightly better on spotify but I think that's because of the higher bit rates
I really hope that they remix this track with a better drum sound and especially a better treat for the voice that it’s buried in the mix.
