ever think maybe what I'm seeing is the refrigerant bubbling up out of the oil??? I remember the OEMs don't want you to test like that, but, I learned the same way except that it should pull to a min of 16" and hold for 2 min. I mean, ya gotta do something right? They haven't come up with anything else that I know of unless you see the high side go down and low side go up during operation.
That robinair gauge is the bad comp valve terminator...lol!
