Can’t decide what to think about these new watches and the new logo. I think the whole Britishness and aviation background seems gone or forgotten. I reckon this was done for the USA market
My impression is that Bremont is evolving and having briefly met Davide he seemed very passionate about the being the guardian of Bremont and I detected only ambition and evolution for Bremont. I think all of Bremont's heritage remains in place and it will only build on its foundation. I must admit I walked away with a nice feeling about Bremont.
@@randmacct636 Thank you for your comment. Change or new designs are often met with resistance but I imagine Bremont will be enhancing the older models I don't think for a moment they are going to change anything regards the older models. Just my own opinion I quite liked what I heard and saw and they seem to have all the main popular original pieces and why I popped in a picture of the mono-pusher at the end.
It seems like the panic button has been pressed and they are back tracking. If what Davide said is true, the rebrand and direction they are attempting to go has been very poorly communicated
Only my point of view but I imagine it is a big job to offer changes that everyone likes but I would give Davide time to offer new models and respond to Bremont enthusiasts and there seems to be many. A couple of years ago I did think myself that Bremont needed a new case and when I learned of the new pieces I thought to myself it made sense. Again, just my opinion but I would give Davide a chance because he seems very capable. Bremont is a nice name and super heritage, I think things look good. Thanks for your comment.
Have to say very glad i watched that thank you. i already quite liked the new collection , i think its brave, original and after hearing davide explain the range fully i like them even more. the description of the logo is really helpful , propeller and compass combined. i cant really see a fault with these pieces
oh thank you. I must say I thought Davide's brief explanation was good also as it did match with what I had already seen and I was very grateful he took time to say hello and talk to me. thank you again.
I think a passionate brand like Bremont is always going to be challenging to grow and develop like all top brands.. but from what I have seen it is only building from their base as all the original iconic pieces are all still there. I'd give Davide a chance, as he seems credible and i'm sure Bremont has more plans to come, it always takes time.
@@masterwatch But what does the new Bremont brand bring new to the market? All brands have land, sea and air collections. At least the old Bremont had the trip-tick case, MB and military collaboration. And they had robust and original divers, military and pilot watches.
@@ektrolleyboy actually this is an account of my own experience actually and I can relate to the comments made. The old pieces are still going to be cool and desirable but I can see and I bet Davide makes some more changes that are in my opinion going to be very good. I like Bremont and they do seem positioned to make some noise.
Possibly the worst rebranding in the history of horology! The logo, the font, the narrative just dreadful. I cannot believe this made it through screening process.
I would wait a little while, adding things and probably making some changes is a big job and will probably take a little time. Davide seems a credible chap I would give him a chance. I did notice all the popular older models are still all there and I was thinking I bet the older pieces become more collectable. I've always thought that Bremont build quality was good.
One thing is to take new directions for a brand and another thing is the execution of it. I dont mind them doing something new, but the models are flawed. Logo is too big, the bracelet looks a bit too similar to the one of the Breitling Chronomat, the tourbillon looks unballanced and cheap executed as well as reminding too much of the Montblanc GMT timezone (coincident, probably not since it is Davide). Overall the new watches lack DNA and attention to detail. Bremont left the british watchmaking mission in the dust, so they instead could use basic Sellita movements.
It will be interesting to see what happens and what new models they release. I think Davide is credible and it will be interesting to see what he does.
@masterwatch no one gonna buy a bremont for omega prices. Hamilton got 1/5 of the price. Wild redesign and the CEO cant run to Rolex homage pieces. Good riddance.
Nice interview - well done. Cheers !
I actually bumped into Davide at Geneva Watch Days.. he's a cool guy.

@@masterwatchyou talked about everything except interest in the new line of watches. That about sums it up for most collectors.

Hopefully Bremont can turn this thing around quick. This rebrand landed like a turd in a punchbowl.

Tudor double agent! Sabotage! The price point is ridiculous. Go with CW over this trash release. Jomashop 70% bin in 6 months.
