Traxxas 4-Tec 2.0 BL-2s can it handle max gearing 55T spur 35T pinion?

  • According to the Traxxas gearing chart for the 4-Tec 2.0, a 55T spur and 35T pinion is the mach it will take mechanically. Here I test if the motor can actually handle the gearing or if it burns up.

      Could not agree with you more. Set some old fire hose down as a sweeper and just do some power slides.

    55/41 is good too but will need hot racing gear cover or will need to cut up stock gear cover to fit pinion

      Hot racing makes the 48T spur, but I never thought of trying the cover on it to see if I did not need to cut it. I should try it. I have the stock plastic on one but I cut it.
