He is so much more than a Hendrix clone, especially now with his new band and then also playing with Joe Bonamassa at times. His body of work is so much larger than Jimi's, and more diverse from the late 80s when he was just 17 to the present. I'm not saying he's better than Jimi, just really tired of the comparisons

Can't imagine hearing anything from Eric that came from the studio, as I only know him from you tube. But WOW what a performer! Almost like an audience is as necessary for his music as is having all six strings!!!!........I have got to experience me some live Raw Dawg soon.
Great memories of this gig! I remember taking my dad to this gig (who wasn’t really familiar with Eric Gale’s music and guitar playing) needless to say he and not to mention the whole crowd where blown away. It was very hard to argue with anyone else who was there that there was a more technical,soulful and dynamic guitar player out of that whole festival lineup! Needles to say he blowed the roof of that place that night 🔥🎸
