Zanskar range is not the part of greater himalayas.
3 ranges of trans Himalayas are as :
1.Karakoram range (K2 is its and India’s highest peak.
2.Ladakh range. (extension in tibet called as Kailash range)
3.Zanaskar range.
In between zankasar and ladakh range , Indua flows.
In between greater Himalayas and ladakh range is the Nubra valley where Siachen glaciers are located.

Karakoram range was not formed , They were there before the Himalayas as Karakoram itself is a part of Trans Himalayas.

zanskar, ladakh , and karakoram ranges included in Transhimalayas(which were formed way before Greater himalayas) which is itself separated from Greater Himalayas by Indus-Tsangpo suture zone(junction of eurasian and Indian plate)
And siachen is located in Karakoram range only
