When Calls the Heart is an American television drama series, inspired by Janette Oke's book of the same name from her Canadian West series, and developed by Michael Landon Jr. The series began airing on the Hallmark Channel in the United States on January 11, 2014,[1] and, in Canada, on April 16, 2014, on Super Channel.[2]
The series originated from a two-hour television movie pilot in October 2013, starring Maggie Grace as young teacher Elizabeth Thatcher and Stephen Amell as Royal North-West Mounted Police officer Wynn Delaney.[3] In the television series Erin Krakow plays the lead role alongside an ensemble cast.
On March 21, 2018, Hallmark renewed the series for a sixth season. The season premiered with a two-hour Christmas special that was broadcast as part of Hallmark's Countdown to Christmas event, and was to continue for a 10-episode run starting in February 2019.[4] However, due to the 2019 college admissions bribery scandal involving Loughlin and her subsequent removal from all Hallmark properties, the season was put on a "retooling" hiatus and resumed in May to conclude in June, with Loughlin's scenes edited out.
When Calls the Heart tells the story of Elizabeth Thatcher (Erin Krakow), a young teacher accustomed to her high-society life. She receives her first classroom assignment in Coal Valley, a small coal-mining town in Western Canada which is located just south of Robb, Alberta. There, life is simple, but often fraught with challenges. Elizabeth charms most everyone in Coal Valley, except Royal North-West Mounted Police Constable Jack Thornton (Daniel Lissing). He believes Thatcher's wealthy father has doomed the lawman's career by insisting he be assigned in town to protect the shipping magnate's daughter. Wishing to thrive in this 1910 coal town, Elizabeth must learn the ways of the Canadian frontier.[9]
Abigail Stanton's (Lori Loughlin) husband (the foreman of the mine), her only son, and 45 other miners, were killed in an explosion, due to the mining-company site manager's irresponsible management and lack of due care in his management of the mine. The newly widowed women find their faith tested when they must go to work in the mine to keep a roof over their heads, food on the table, and help pay the wage for the town's teacher.[10] The town of Coal Valley was renamed Hope Valley in first episode of the second season after the coal mine was closed.

We love watching the show every Sunday night
So Elizabeth will exit Hope Valley no wedding for Elizabeth and Nathan ?
Well maybe Elizabeth will marry Lucas and they both leave with little Jack in season 12 ?
Maybe the writers will write a new love interest for Nathan
Nathan and Fiona would be an easy transition, since they are a real couple.
After Daniel leaving it doesn’t feel as bad if anybody else leaves. Well, except Elizabeth.

Paul Greene. Carlson was a good character, but I like seeing a woman as town doctor, especially Faith 😊
Paul Greene Dr Carson Shepard seems to happy staying close to Home since he 2nd Child was born a few Seasons ago.
I hope he is out of the picture. Only Elizabeth and Lucas needs to continue
After Mountie Jack died I was excited about the book themes. 1) the addition of the Library.
2) Elizabeth’s dream of becoming a writer.
I don’t see much interesting stories coming out of a relationship with another Mountie.
This is going back to old seasons Nathan and Elizabeth have a beautiful relationship and chemistry is super. I don’t trust Lucas and Rosemary and Bill are investigating Lucas for criminal activity. E realized her heart was not with Lucas but she became aware of her heart was with Nathan

If season 12 is as bad as season 11 it will be a big disappointment! Watching the videos how can you not say that Elizabeth, little Jack and LUCAS belong together! Don't disappoint your fans!!

Não irei mais assistir os próximos episódios, pois o casal perfeito Lucas e Elisabeth, não estaram juntos.Totalmente sem sentido.
Acredito que juntos poderiam fazer pela cidade.
why did Elizabeth to tell Lucas she had to make up her mind and she was with Lucas the entire season 10 & now she is back with Nathan that doesn't make sense. I think it make Nathan look stupid that he would take her back after she left him for Lucas. I thought Elizabeth & Lucas made a great couple. Nathan is boring. I'm going to look at the rest of season 11 but with out lLucas getting a love interest I'm not going to continue to watch season 12.
I am disappointed in The way they are taking the show with Elizabeth and Lucas. I find Elizabeth and Nathan have no chemistry. It makes me think she is looking for another man in a bounty suit like her late husband. I find Lucas brings out the best in Elizabeth. He is mysterious and passionate with Elizabeth. Nathan and Elizabeth act like two teenagers. I do not like the way they have changed Elizabeth. I think Lucas makes that show now and if they take him off I will stop watching. This season has done nothing to make me want to watch more. I hope this story improves.
I share you wanting Elizabeth and Lucas together. By not watching this season you are missing out on exceptional acting with Chris McNally!!

I am so disappointed in WCTH this year. Story all over the place and sometimes not making sense. I was truly disappointed in the writers separating Lucas and Elizabeth. They were so romantic together. Elizabeth and Nathan have no chemistry together whatsoever. If WCTH does not improve the story I will quit watching. I am already bored with the show.
I agree with you. I didn’t care for the ending. I have to say “the first kiss” between Lucas and Elizabeth had so much passion. I don’t feel that with Nathan and Elizabeth. If they bring Jack back I probably won’t continue to watch it.
