I always liked that the Bar tender was actually just straight up helpful, didn’t try to get money, didn’t whine, even tried to get Doc to NOT have the drink
"That A Nasty Fall Doc" "You Ok"
Doc brown was a Local at that point, well liked and respected. They were probably even friends.
@@bluntlyhonest6803 "pride comes before a fall." Poor Doc
That's friendship.
They were friendly. The doc had been there for 8 months and they seemed to be on first name terms
I love that Marty momentarily can't hide just a bit of judgment; "...Just the one?"
You have SUPER good taste in music and you are subbed to a lot of cool people. I wanna chat with you so bad ;_;

"the bigger they are the harder they fall"
Seven times I've watched this movie, and I haven't caught that
I’ve seen this movie around 3 million times and never once spotted this. Thanks for seeing this detail!
@@samueljweston "pride comes before a fall"
LOLOL thanks
I love how they got all these great western character actors(Dub Taylor, Harry Carey Jr., Pat Buttram, Burton Gillum, Matt Clark) in this film..
Since it wasn't really possible to cast actual people from the Old West in the film, as none of them (apart from a handful of centenarians who had been infants in the 1880s) were still around, casting actors from Westerns was the next best thing, and worked brilliantly, albeit with the effect of giving the citizens of Hill Valley in 1885 an average age of 60 or over...
Heh. Buttram.
To be fair. BTTF:P3 is literally a western. for about an hour and change.
I'm pretty sure one of them did the voice of one of the cowboy bullets in Who Framed Roger Rabbit. But that's not surprising considering they were both directed by Zemeckis
@@youkai3785 That was Mr. Haney himself, Pat Buttram!

0:28 the old guy voice was so familiar, then i realized he did loads of voice work for Disney like Napoleon from aristocat kids film
Yes, and the Sheriff of Nottingham
Do you think he has an old western accent that no longer exist ???
He reminds me of the mechanics in Rugrats when they go to the Clam Canyon

@3:01 the wake-up juice pours right out the side of the funnel as Marty pours it from the mug. Never noticed that before
to be fair do you wanna actually taste that? XD
I think its overflowing, he's pouring more in than flows out looks like to me, but yea could be they just plugged it up completely, whatever is in that stuff probably is a unique taste to it to put it mildly.
going to say that
1:32 kids when you give them grape juice in a wine glass
2:25 Noticed the guy in the background holding the mug of beer winces slightly at the mention of "Wake up juice".
Guess he got drunk enough to need it.
I loved it when Marty said, “Back to the future!” Truly a moment of all time.
I always Felt like doc played that off cause he wanted people in the bar to hear that
I know this is a meme, but I unironically like it in this case
Doc broke his own rules and principles telling people about the future.... But then again they were a bunch of drunks in a bar
Eh those people knowing wouldn't change anything anyhow even if they believed him in the first place. They couldn't build a fridge let alone a time machine.
it won't be that much damage as the first automobile was invented by Benz in 1885 but wasn't patented till 1886
@@dstreetz91 yeah they just laughed at him
@@legothoron1 yeah its pretty unrealistic that they would think cars are an outrageous concept in 1885. They had steam engines, electricity and steel warships by that time.. even for some idiots in america it wouldn't be that farfetched by that time

Doc's reaction when he wakes up at 3:04 still makes me laugh hard to this very day 🤣
0:55 ->
The formidable understated presence of the clock 🕰 from Marty frantically looking for Doc to Buford’s gang riding past it on their way to the gun duel with Marty.
To remind everyone that Time is running out, even for those owning a Time Machine.
Fun fact: 1:32 This scene also exist in A Milion Ways To Die In The West movie.
Yeah, the miners ate nothing but hot, spicy food every day because of the poisonous gas in the mines that affected their taste. One finishes eating, farts, and then dies and falls over just like Doc on the table. Doc is also in A million ways to die in the west as a cameo, along with the DeLorean.
The way that doc just screamed and ducked his head in the water was absolutely hilarious🤣
"Run, for fun? What kind of fun is that?😂"

1:29 TIMBER!
The Doc went down as straight as a plank of wood after that one shot of whiskey
It’s a good thing they didn’t make it to the train yet because had Doc been the way he was before passing out he would’ve been a very bitter man for the rest of his life. Hell what if he doesn’t end up destroying the machine and becomes more seduced in the limitless potential of time travel.
3:05
AHHHHH!!!!!
3:04 HOOOOOOOOOOOOTT
If this is wild west times, those dudes would be pretty surprised in a few decades by the surge of popularity cars would have
Well most of them would probably be dead. Pat Buttram was dead five years after the movie released
I think the most unbelievable part of this movie is the boy riding bareback saddle and not falling off the horse
That was one hell of a reflex!

Used to do that type of 'drunken fall' as a bit part in a show, except I would straight fall to the ground. Would not believe how much that hurts if you don't place your arm just right to help catch you at the end (used to do a spin around and be waving my arm as if to say goodbye then ........'thunk' :) ).
Of all the films I've seen, Christopher Lloyd's is the best passing out standing up to date.
2:35 In about 10 minutes, he's gonna be as sober as a priest on Sunday.
Doc having an existencial crisis and starting to leak info on the future as he drowns his depression in alcohol is so funny to me.
3:04
People run for recreation, for fun.
And so they can have the endurance to run when they need to catch someone, or evade being caught.
That scream
Doc should have said part 3 😂
3:04 when you stub your toe
In about ten minutes, he's gonna be as sober as a priest on Sunday
Yes, you heard correctly.
1:34
I keep wanting to call him “Morty”
Makes sense, since their characters are based off of them in some small way. Morty is basically Marty McFly and Rick is just an OP version of Doc Brown, or that's how I've come to see them
0:27 I think this movie had more influence on me than I realized.
I'd be willing to try it at least once...
0:01, 3:02 If you look on the right then you'll see that the liquid is pouring out to make sure that it doesn't get into Christopher Lloyd's/Doc's mouth.
Why do we always have to cut this rhings so damn close? 😂
Curious what the ingredients would be.
I don't think the Bartender was telling Marty the truth about how much Doc had to drink.
He is, Doc has something called extreme alcohol intolerance. I have it too, one can of bourbon and coke and my stomach hurts and I can pass out of I'm not careful.
@@DylanGodor The Inuit people are genetically prone to that.

1:45 how many did he have?
Just the one.
Just the one?
"We?" So let me get this straight, you're 139 years old?
Is there a recipe to wake up juice?
There are several re-creations of the recipe posted to RUclips. It's said that the filmmakers based the concoction on a real-life historical remedy from the Old West called a "Prairie Oyster".
Christopher Lloyd didn’t drink that red drink that Marty (Michael J. Fox) poured into his mouth.
Did he drink salsa or something? 😂😮😅
Bloody Mary
Hot sauce from Hell holy crap.
I'm pretty sure there is an actual hot sauce with that name out there, and I swear I had a bottle of it at one time, an ex gave it to me if I'm remembering correctly as a Valentine's Day gift lol
No wonder they screaming and running to the water trough.

Damn can you imagine Doc Brown taking one Cannabis hit?
Which makes me wonder: How was marijuana treated/viewed in The Wild West? I'm sure just like today, people back then were like That Green Stuff is better. You get happy not groggy and NO HANGOVERS and you can stick satisfy your woman on weed. Al-Kee-Hall just brings you down, literally.
You don’t think he ever smoked weed?
Many western tribes used cannabis alongside tobacco. That's why they called it a "peace pipe". It wasn't really opposed legally, either. It was a common ingredient in the "patent medicines" that were peddled all over the west, along with stronger drugs.
