This was very informational. I don't own my first property yet, but 5+ multifamily and large multifamily are in my five year plan. Thank you everyone who contributed!
@@nicholassinger3100 Nick I would say focus on getting your first deal on the books with solid performance. Track record and momentum are big factors in multi family and syndication
Thank you David for this podcast, it was very educational as always. Also, Thank you for bringing Andrew. One of my favorite nuggets you guys gave was the difference between single and comercial loans. I have to listen to this episode twice because of all the information you guys provide.
Hello Bigger Pockets team do you have experience in Columbus OH? Any thoughts on that market regarding multi family but 4 plex to duplex? Does it concern you that the homes in this market are 80 years or older?
Great Video! I think I heard you mention my area, Fort Walton Beach? You ever make it down this way, I would like to buy you a meal or a coffee. Keep up the great content.
I like these but I don't think this is real for the average Joe though cause they always say I didn't have any money BUT I had this friend that had lots of money and he paid for everything so I could start . I don't have friends I have very little money. Good credit. But I doubt if be able to do this. Be nice to have a rich friend I guess
Hi, name is Dan from MN. I really want to get into real estate investing, specifically multi-family but I don’t have any money for down payment. Can I still achieve this?

Hey David, Does your loan company work with investors in the state of Florida?
What is underwriting?
That's where you consult Google
@@isaacpaulsen1158 it's too nonspecific.
@@KidCity1985 try it out I think you'll be surprised how enlightening it can be
I could be wrong but what I got from Google was underwriting is basically doing your homework on a potential property
In laymans terms, it's "running the numbers" on the property. Using the BP calculators is underwriting a deal.
Shout out to Gary Indiana 🤣
I'm lovin over here!
